"No, wait!" I shouted a little too loudly as I jumped out of my car.

She tensed as she turned around quickly, her eyes glued to the ground, causing a frown to make its way on my face.

"Yes?" She answered politely.

I stuffed my hands in my pocket and gently rocked back and forth on my heels.

"I wanted to apologize about what happened earlier today with Amanda." I gritted out her name through my teeth, my anger piquing once again at just the thought of her.

After the incident that had happened, I drove us both back home and basically scolded Amanda like the little child that she acted like.

She was truly revolting and I didn't know how long I could keep this thing up.

"It's o-okay." She mumbled as she continued to look at the ground. "It was my fault." She whispered.

I scrunched my eyebrows together as she basically became smaller under my gaze.

I ignored her statement, knowing that if I commented on it, my anger would pique once again and she would think that she was on the receiving end of it.

"Is your shoulder okay?" I reached out to touch it gently but she flinched before I could even come remotely close.

I retreated my hand slowly and I'd be lying if I said that that didn't hurt.

I cleared my throat, admitting to myself that I shouldn't overstep any boundaries.

I just met this woman today and I didn't want to seem too forward or anything, despite the fact that I'm obviously attracted to her.

Who wouldn't be?

"It's getting late, I should go." She rushed, still staring at her shoes.

I was the slightest bit agitated that I still hadn't properly seen her face once again.

I wanted her to look at me with her big beautiful eyes.

"Oh, I could give you a ride home, saying it's late." I quickly offered, wanting any time that I could spend with her.

"No!" She basically shouted as her eyes snap towards mine, full of panic and fear.

My eyes widened at her sudden outburst. I got lost momentarily just looking at her. It's almost unrealistic how beautiful she is. Every feature on her face was made to perfection.

I shook my head quickly at the distraction and readied myself to confront the situation at hand.

"What?" I questioned as I raised my eyebrows slightly.

She quickly averted her gaze to the ground again and mumbles, "I-I just mean that it's far from here and I wouldn't w-want you driving so far. I-I'm sure you're busy." She fumbled over her words.

She was right about one thing. I was actually just stopping by my parent's house to grab a file that my father had for me when I saw her walking alongside the road. Although I hadn't made out a face yet, it would be impossible to miss hair like hers.

I checked the watch on my wrist to look at the time which read 10:47.

I was actually supposed to be there by 10:30. My father was a very impatient man and any sane man would never get on his bad side, especially by being late.

He hated tardiness.

I paused and thought for a second.
