I woke up at 9am this morning and couldn't get back to sleep,as creepy as it sounds I just lay and watched Maliyah sleep until she woke up

She stirs turning around so she is filling cuddled into my side

"I'm sore" she said

I look down seeing her pouting

"Do you want be to run you a bath" I ask

"Yes please" she says sheepishly

She's not acting as scared but that's probably cause she's in pain and needed someone

I get up and run her a bath and leave her to get in, i go into her room and put fresh sheets on and put her hot water bottle that I filled up for her on her bed

I walk down stairs and it on the couch when my brother walks in

"Dude what the hell" he shouts

"What?" I ask confused

"You kidnapped that girl didn't you?" He shouts

"Well yeah and no" I shrug

"The police know dude and I can't keep covering for you" he sighs

"You can and you will jake" I say standing up

"Joey I love you man but I can't if I keep lying they will catch on and I'll be in shit too" he backs up

"Look you may be my brother but it doesn't mean I won't hurt you man" I say grabbing him by his shirt

"Woah bro calm down"

"I'm the one giving orders here, you will keep lying or you'll end up the dudes who killed Bella" I warn

"O-okay man I'm sorry" he rush

I let him go and he fixes him self

And sits down

I hear footsteps coming down the stairs and see  Maliyah walk through to the living room and looks and me and Jacob

"Okay this is too trippy for me bro" she shakes her head

"Wait come sit" I say and pat the seat beside me

She walks over sitting next to me

"Are you okay had he hurt you?" Jacob asks

"Of course I'm not okay but he hasn't hurt me" she says

"I'm so sorry he did this" Jacob sneaks his head

"Look she was getting too close to Rafael's gang and they are a lot more dangerous then I am,they don't care who gets hurt even it's a kid or a girl" I raise my voice

"Wait what" her eyes widen

"The guys that killed Bella " Jacob looks at me

"Yeah" I sigh

"what's going" Maliyah asked looking at us

"Who's Rafael" she asks

"He's a gang leader" I look at her

"Your kidding right" she laughs nervously

"No I'm not and he's really dangerous so we need to tell your friend not to tell your other friend that you hooked up with me, cause they will come looking for you" I tell her

"Wait why I don't even know this Rafael guy is" she furrow her brows

"You might not know him but he knows you" I say
