He had called you 7 times and message you 24 times and you still wouldn't answer

It had been a few hours since you left the lair to finish a project you were working on . Or at least that's what you told him

And For first time donnie actually felt genuinely worried for you ,normally you would reply in an instant but not this time.

You and Donnie had been friends the moment you guys met which was a few years ago, he never paid attention to it but he always seem to notice this insane look in your ( e/c) orbs,but always shrugged it of

"Okay"!! That's it " . Donnie said/ shouted
"I better check up on (y/n) to make sure there not dead".

And like that he was gone and into the streets of NYC without telling his brothers

Donnie climbed / jumped up to the last Apartments which belonged to you

You had given him a key to your apartment so he could get in whenever he wanted to , but for some reason Donnie prefers the Window

He could see a light in the room but everything else dark

He put his goggles on to get a better look inside.

And what he saw almost made him choke on his saliva

There you were , with the most insane look in your eye doing who knows what with chemicals pouring and mixing them together ,

You laughed

No , not to laugh that always made his heart flutter

It was a laugh that was full with insanity

He never seen you like this , he took off his goggles slowly

What the hell was he doing just sitting there

"(Y/N) " Donnie bang on your window
You turned around slowly and creeply

His dark eyes widened at the sight he could see you more clearly

You had the same clothes but they were dirty and ragged

Your hair , it wasn't the (h/c) hair that he loved touching, it was greesy ,dirty and full of......he didn't even know what that was . But he didn't like any of this ...not one bit .

And your eyes ......they were......full of insanity

He had tear his eyes ."(y/n) what are you doing, open the window".

You just laughed

He growled in frustration and broke the screws that were on the window and came inside

"(Y/N) "!. That are you doing

"Don't "hi" me (y/n) what the hell is all this" Donnie shouted pointing at all the chemicals and chemistry papers

"Pffff hhaaaaha I don- * snort *t even know ".

Donnie just stared at you as you continue to laugh

Soon your laughing soon died down and turn into crying.

You were crying, shouldn't he be the one crying......I mean look at you the state you were in how could someone not

He dropped to his knees and grabbed your chin softly to make you look at him .

*Crying*" ...Donnie what is wrong with me !!"

" Sh sh it's ok , Donnie's here ok darling" he said hugging you tightly.

"Can you at least tell me what's wrong"

I.....I don't know , I just started not being myself anymore I felt crazy, i felt like it was out of control .....I....Donnie * starts crying again * ...help me....all this ... it's so suffocating".

It probably wasn't a good time to think about it but ..your scent it was driving him crazy..and here you were....in his arm , hugging him ...... To be honest he couldn't really believe what was happening right now , he prayed that you couldn't hear his heartbeat...it felt like it was going to jump right out of his plastron.

He continued hugging you until your crying turned into small hiccups .

"You alright there doll"

You nodded and lifted your head to meet his eyes

His breath hitched

"Y-yes " he whispered afraid he might scare you
