Karaoke Night-Danny's POV

I didn't feel like being at a bar. I'm in a bad mood right now. I'm just not in the mood to be out without the love of my life. I missed him so much. I got pulled back into reality when Stella started talking loudly.

"Guys we need to each sing at least one song, and we can do duets with each other." Stella said trying to get all of us excited.

"Ok" all of us said. Ryland and Ella were going to go first so they walked over to pick a song while Stella, Gage and I got some drinks. Sophia was talking to Jett and Holly who were holding hands. I could tell Stella was kinda upset. She shouldn't be because she has Gage and Crystal. They are perfect together.

Sophia came over to me and told us about them.

"Hey, everyone! I'm Ryland this here my wonderful girlfriend Ella." They were about to sing. "We are going to be singing Torn – Natalie Imbruglia."

They actually sounded good together. Stella and Gage were standing up dancing. Sophia was sitting by me and she kept looking around to see if any men were around good enough for her. I was smiling at Ella who was looking at me and Stella while she sang. They finished singing and came over to the group.

"That was so good guys!" Stella said somewhat sarcastically. I hit her arm and she got the message. Gage looked at me and gave me a look of anger. I don't even know why. Next up was Sophia. She was singing on her own. I was going to sing with her, but I chickened out. I got nervous and I'll go later. She stood up and walked over to the DJ. She was looking for a song when Jett came over to the group.

"Hey can we join you guys." Holly followed him.

"Sure," I said and then I looked at Stella who looked down and squeezed Gage's hand. Jett and Holly sat down next to me and Ella. Sophia got up on stage and grabbed the mic.

"Hi, I will be singing Single Ladies." She started to sing and she started to dance and sing at the same time. She was a great dancer, but not good at singing. All the group was standing and dancing. Everyone in the bar was dancing now. Stella and Gage were grinding. Ryland and Ella were making out. I was alone again with all these people who have there significant others. Sophia finished the song and came down. Some guy went up to her and asked if she wanted a drink. The guy was hot. Sophia looked at me and I shook my head to let her know that I was gonna be okay.

Stella and Gage went up to pick a song and Ella and Ryland went off to get their own drinks. Sophia was flirting with the guy. Holly and Jett were making out. I was staring off into space thinking about all the things that I wish I could do with Kevin right now.

Gage and Stella got onto the stage.

"Hey everyone, we will be singing Time After Time." They started to sing. Gage was so good and Stella not so much, but she tried. I was just staring off and was just listening. I was getting tired, but I had to sing soon. The nerves were coming back. I was going to Perfect by Ed Sheeran. Gage and Stella were done and it was my turn. They went up to me and told me it was my turn. I walked up the stage. I told the DJ what I was going to sing and he started it. I looked into the crowd. I started to panick. I looked at my friends and they all smiled at me. That reassured me. I started to sing.

All these emotions started to pour into me. This song was gonna be me and Kevin's wedding song one day. We would sing it all the time in the car and in our room. I started to cry.  I wasn't that good at singing to begin with and now it was probably awful since crying made it so much harder to sing.

I stopped singing at the second verse. I turned around to not face that crowd. I heard another voice start to sing. Wait I know that voice! I turned around.

It was Kevin! He came back. He was walking towards me and I joined him. We were right in front of each other and the song ended. Everyone cheered.
I just stared into his eyes. I hugged him.

"I'm so sorry. I never want to be without you ever again." I was still crying.

"You better! I have something I want to ask you. Danny we have been through so much in the last two years and I know I want to spend the rest of my life with you. There is no one else." I looked at Stella, Sophia, and Ella. They were all smiling so big. Kevin and I were on the stage in front of everyone.
"I wanted to take a few days to see if I really needed you as much as I did and yes I need you so much. I missed you every minute of everyday we weren't together." He kneeled down on one knee. I started to smile and started to cry and they were tears of joy. "Danny will you make me the happiest person alive and marry-"

"Yes yes YES! A million times yes!" I kissed him and it was the most passionate kiss. We walked over to the group.

"Your welcome!" Stella and Ella said at the same time.

"For what?" I asked.

"We helped plan this for weeks and I'm so happy for you guys!" Ella said over Stella.

"Thanks so much! You guys are the best friends ever."

The rest of the night was so much fun and the night didn't stop getting better. When we got back to the apartment Kevin and I might have had a great sexual time if you know what I mean.
