I continu to drive to my first day at this new high school. I wonder what it's going to be like, or if it is going to be anything like my old school. I finally arrive and park my car quite far from the school, not wanting to make a scene... Yet.
I walk a bit and finally reach my destination at the school to see tons of different groups of people. They are all in their own clique's and it looks as if no one is trying to mix any of them together. Good, just the way I like it.
As I continue walking now in the main area a lot of eyes are on me. I smirked realizing how easy it is going to be to take over this place. My outfit is and always will be on point, and I am ready for whatever this school has to throw at me. I hear a few whistles and shortages of breath, along with plenty of whispering.
This is going to be too easy. I mentally start going over good things to say. Confidence is all over how I walk, hopefully warning and intriguing others. I have always been confident. Confident, independent, and fierce my mother used to say. I walk past row and row of lockers until I finally find mine. I open it and starting placing my books in one by one, making sure to go slowly. This is definitely not my first rodeo.
"Hi, Im Bianca. You're new here right?" A voice says behind me and I hide my smirk. Like I said, I know how this game works. I then turn around to see three girls stood right in front of me. They are all fairly pretty, of course Bianca is prettier than the other two. That was obviously on purpose. Bianca has light brown hair and dark brown eyes.
"Yeah. I'm Max, nice to meet you." I fake a smile as Bianca looks me over, as if she is giving me a mental test.
"Brooke, switch lockers with Max." Bianca commands.
"B-But—"
"Now!" Exclaims Bianca while Brooke starts to clear her things out of her locker. Bianca then turns to smile at me again.
"Sorry about that," She egged on her act with another fake smile "here you can have this locker next to mine and Brookie will take yours."
"Sure, Thanks." I fake a smile right back at her. Two can play at that game. I take my things out of Brooke's new locker and placed my things into my new locker. Brooke does not look very pleased but sorry hon, it is all in the line of business.
"So, Max. You know I don't really like that name." Stated Bianca while opening her locker and applying more lipgloss in a mirror. "If you're going to be part of our squad we're going to have to change it. Max sounds like a boy name, how about... Mae? Spelt with an E instead of a Y because, uniqueness. I like that, Mae. What do you think girls?"
"I love it." States the another girl, she had blonde hair and light brown eyes.
"Me too. Your so smart, B." Brooke replied which earns an eye roll from Bianca. Brooke is definitely pretty, with green eyes and strawberry blonde hair.
"Don't be such a suck up Brookie, be more like CC. Oh, that's Caroline by the way." Bianca mentions shooting a lazy finger in the direction of the girl with the blonde hair and light brown eyes. "So what's your first period Mae Mae?" Bianca asked while she sprays a bit too much perfume on herself.
"History, with Mr. Fray." I reply while I too applied some lip gloss.
"Oh my god us too! That's great. Hand me your schedule and I'll see which classes we have together." Bianca instructs and leaves no room for argument.
I take out a paper from my pocket and hand it to her as I shut my locker door. Bianca looks over it briefly and then hands me back my schedule.
"We have a few periods together, including choir." She says with a bit of distaste in her mouth when she said choir. Im guessing its because she's afraid of someone being better then her. Well get used to it hon, because Im not going anywhere for a while.
The first period bell rang as I follow Bianca to our first class. "We sit in the back center." Bianca mentions while pointing to the area she meant. We are currently standing in front of an empty teachers desk. "If anyone ever tries to take your seat you tell them to get the fuck up. We don't sit in the very front because that's where the nerds sit. The goth and emo's sit in the window seats. The other side is for geeks in the arts, other than singing of course. The very center is for the wannabe's. The ones who wannabe us. Got it?"
"Got it." I reply as the teacher walks in and Bianca, Caroline, Brooke, and I head for our seats.
The bell rings so the teacher clears his throat. "Alright as I'm sure you all can see, we have a new student. Ms. Havoc stand up and introduce yourself but make it quick, we need to get on with today's lesson."
I stand up and force a smile. "Hi my name is
Ma—"
Bianca clears her throat, obviously not wanting me to say my real name Max.
"As I was saying, my name is Mae Havoc. I moved here from a small town a few hours away. I love singing and partying. And uh yeah." I announce to the class with a fake smile and then sat down hearing plenty of whispers. This town isn't ready for me.
Make way, there's a new bitch in town.
