Chapter 2: What?!

"Mr. Choi is already inside the room Ms. Kim." my secretary said as she put the cup of coffee above the table.

"Okay, you can leave now and tell him that I'll be there in a minute." I said, she bowed her head and walked out.

My head is aching through out the day. I can't believe that I'd drunk myself hard because of that girl. After she left me inside the cr, I stayed there for about ten minutes to loosened up. When I came back to my bestfriend, I search the whole bar to find for the girl but, I didn't saw any glimpse of her. So that night, I drunk myself to forget what happened earlier last night.

I massaged my temple and drink the coffee that my secretary made from me and left. I knock twice in the meeting room and I saw Mr. Choi beautifully seating while watching some movies on his phone.

I cleared my throat to catch his full attention on me. He closed his phone and stand up and bowed at me. I secretly rolled my eyes and take my seat. I don't like people who busying themselves on other things while they're at work.

"Ms. Kim, where do we start the project?" He asked.

"Well... I was just thinking, I want to create pleasant, productive office environments with well-designed furniture that incorporates new technology into the classic office mode, in which real people can work happily. We are sensitive to the look and feel of good wood and fine furniture as well as to high-powered personal computing. We always provide the best possible value to our customers who care about quality office environments, and we want every dollar spent with us to be well spent. We also create and nurture a healthy, creative, respectful, and fun office and workshop environment, in which our employees are fairly compensated and encouraged to respect the customer and the quality of the product we produce. We seek fair and responsible profit, enough to keep the company financially healthy for the long term and to fairly compensate owners and investors for their money and risk."

"Wow, you're good at making projects huh? Well, what is the uncompromising commitment to the quality of the end product?"

"Quality wood, quality workmanship, quality design and quality of end result. We need to sure that the quality of our product is very well designed to attract more customers and to not think twice on buying our products." His eyes went wide as I said the words in front of him. I smirk while I saw him clenching his jaw. Yes Jennie, keep up the good work.

"How can be the product make the people comfortable without getting a bad comment to the company? Do you think any ways to improve your product?" He's challenging me... okay i'll take the bait.

"For the computer desk... I want to make several versions of it. This is an elegant piece of office furniture designed to look good in executive office or home office, and at the same time be ideal for real use of the computer. The two critical elements of ergonomics keyboard height and angle and monitor height and angle are completely adjustable. Cable runs and shelving add to the utility of the executive computer, without sacrificing elegance."

"How can you be sure that your product is high quality and people buying it without hesitation?"

"Since we have an established relationship with a high quality lumbar yard to supply the high quality wood we use to manufacture Kim's Corp. We can buy higher quality oak and cherry than either of our competitors. Since our sales increased over the last two years, we have been able to buy at better prices, because of higher volumes and also... I'm 100 percent sure of it." I ended my speech, smile on my face. I saw Mr. Choi once again eyes wide open.

"Well... I'll admit that your grandfather have a good taste on choosing the right person to handle his own company... and it's you." Mr. Choi and my grandfather was bestfriends since they're a little. My grandfather died at the age of 85 so before he died, he passed me the company when I was 18 years old. I'm 21 now.

"Thank you Mr. Choi." I said and bowed at him.

"I'm going to meet our investors and talk to them about this." he said and excused himself and leave the room.

I'm on my way home to take a rest. It's 1 o'clock in the afternoon and I felt my body's going to feel numb. I cancel all of my appointments and meetings for me to sleep all throughout the day.

I stopped the car when the stoplight turned red. I opened the radio to eased my boredom. I wear my sunglasses because the sun rays hitting my eyes.

As I put my hand on the steering wheel, I turned my head on the left, I don't know why I turned my head to the left but... I saw this car, I think it's porsche taycan? I want to peek inside the car but I didn't have a chance, the car is too tinted but I think, the owner is a girl based on her side mirror there's a cinderella sticker on the side.

When the light turned green, I stepped on the gas and drove away.

Next Morning...

Picking my best attire for the lunch meeting of my investors and also, meeting the daughter of M'pire Inc. Yesterday, I received a call from the company and they told me that I'll be getting a meeting from M'pire. It's such a pleasure to have a connection to them because they are the biggest company along with mine.

I wear my best outfit and wear my sunglasses and entered the car. I have my driver with me because I'm not in the mood to driving my car.

"Richard, to the nearest restaurant in the company... right now." I ordered and he obliged.

After several minutes of tracking the highway, we reached the said restaurant. Richard opened the door for me and I stepped outside. I prepare myself and entered the restaurant.

One of the staff there appeared and asked me if I have a reservation, and I said yes. I followed him in the vip area and I saw a girl wearing a yellow dress, I think she's the daughter of Mr. Manoban.

"I'm okay here, go back to work." I said to the staff and left. I walk towards the table where the girl is and I was about to sit when she faced me.

"Hi, it's nice to meet-- what the fuck?!"
