Chapter 22

Lamp post were lightning the lonely street. The air was cold making the brunette shivers and hold her coat tightly. She went outside to have a fresh air and to think.

It's not easy to a person to love someone who doesn't love you back. That is what Jennie thought. Like then, she's like this happy go lucky girl. Going in the bar and hooked up some 'girls' for fun, no strings attached.

Then Lisa happened. After she saw her in a bar that night, her life changed. She didn't go to the bar and hook up some girls. She has a goal that she wanted to achieve. Well, she already got what she wants. She made a plan and talk to Mr. Manoban after that, then she successfully get his approval.

The event when the Manoban's introduced their daughter publicly was all planned by the one and only Jennie Kim. She's going to marry Lisa, that's what she really wants but, there's something wrong.

Lisa doesn't like Jennie.

Lisa has someone she loves.

"Aaahhhh!!" She shouted. She wants to release the pain in her heart.

Her voice echoed to the street. Someone went outside the house and shouted over Jennie for being noisy in that late night. The girl didn't bother to look to that person and continued walking.

She went home after that. She looked around the house and felt relieved when she heard someone on the bathroom humming her favorite song by Elvis Presley.

'--only fools rush in
But I can't help
falling in love with you' she sang.

A tear escaped from her eyes and she immediately wiped it when she heard the door opened revealing Lisa.

"Jennie? What happened?" Lisa said and goes to her. Jennie shakes her head and regained her posture.

"Why do you care?" She coldly said that's makes Lisa shocked but back to her self again.

"Jennie I--" Lisa didn't finish her sentence when Jennie speaks.

"I'm tired." She said and went upstairs.

She went to bathroom first to freshen up herself before slumping herself on their bed. This day is hella stressing for her. She's been out of her mind since when she lied from doing her assignment and walked away from the cafeteria. She didn't attend her last subject and went straight to house. Her friends called her but, she didn't answer them of course, they're going to ask where she was and if she's okay which is not.

She pushed the blanket up to her body and stared at the ceiling. Her eyes began to heavy and without a second, briny tears started running to her cheeks. Through her entirely soul, she's hurt. Who will not hurt when you saw your love kissing others? Yes, Jennie saw Lisa and Sehun in the park.

It was Jennie's time to breathe a fresh air but maybe, the luck is not on her side. She saw the two on the park so, she stayed there for a while, watching the two. She had no intention of listening on what they were talking about but, what she saw suddenly breaks her heart. She saw Sehun kissed her lover but, Lisa didn't stop him.

"She love him, why would she stop?"

She tightens her hold on the blanket as the tears didn't stop running from her cheeks.

'What am I gonna do?'

Little did she know, there's someone patiently waiting for her downstairs to eat dinner with her.
