Some were already awake, others began to rise slowly. I immediately smelled blood, and rushed to the ten people that smelled delicious. I then noticed the bars that separated our room from theirs. I tried to tear away the bars with my new found strength, but nothing was working. I wanted there blood more than anything, and I didn't even know why.

"Won't work." A man said from my room. He was shorter than me, but older by about six years. "Tried about a thousand times. They smell good don't they?" He asked as if he knew what I was going through. Why didn't I want to attack anybody in this room, I wondered. The people in my room, ranged from in looks, but they all had brown eyes, that seemed to have sunken into there face. I was the only one in this room without brown eyes, I thought. That was weird. I finally gave up, and walked back to the bench I had woken up on. Why was I here? What was I? And why did that man seem to know how I felt?

As if coming to answer all of my questions three well built young men walked down the stairs. They walked up the gate that opened my room.

"Camille, Jack, Adam, Kimberly, Jennifer, Alix," the man who had spoken to me earlier's head snapped up as the guy outside continued, "Zoey, Natalie, Caroline, and Caleb." He finished with my name. I looked up to see that the people in my room were now all standing, and had risen as there names had been called. The second guy then continued.

"She will be here to speak to you in a minute. Please be on your best behavior. You do not want to upset her." He said almost pleadingly, as if it was not an order, but a request. The three then left, and the people in our room sat down again. The room next to us was now being filed out, and all of my room's eyes watched every step they took with desire.

"So who is she?" I finally asked, to the whole room. Many of them looked at me, then looked away. Alix then stood up and joined me on the bench.

"Only the humans have met her. And they don't talk to us. But they don't know about our special hearing, so we've overheard a few comments. They described her as pretty, but that she's definitely one of us." He stated, and I looked at him confusedly.

"One of us? What do you mean? What are you?" I blurted out quickly. Not sure what to think of what he had just told me.

"WE are vampires. Didn't you know?" He asked my, not sure of why I thought this was irrational. I sat in silence thinking that statement over. I WAS NOT a VAMPIRE! Was I? I though about it. Finally, I decided that that did explain most of my problems. Crap... I was a vampire. Suddenly Alix began to stand up to walk away, when I realized I needed to ask him something.

"How long have you been here?" I quietly asked him, recalling something he said about our special hearing. He sighed and sat back down.

"Three days. But then again, so have you." He stated slowly, "you finally woke up today. The silver really knocked you out. You were the last of us to wake up." He finished, then got back up. Three days? I had been asleep for three days.

Suddenly the door creaked and a girl about my age was in the room. She was far prettier than any other person in the cell, but had a very serious expression on her face. She seemed older, but not physically. Physically she was the most gorgeous girl I had ever met. I looked at her again, and something stood out to me. Her eyes were also sunk in a little farther than they should be, but they were a brilliant shade of blue. She wore shorts, and a tight tee-shirt with her golden hair tied messily in a ponytail. She looked gorgeous anyway.

"Hello," she spoke with dignity, "my name is Aelia VanCliff. This is my home, the place you will all be staying until further decided.", her tone suddenly became more like a teenage girl that she was, and not the adult she had came down as. "I'm sorry about this, but we did capture you and are now holding you like hostages, but we do have a reason." She did this? I was immediately furious with her. And had the urge to rip out her throat. "You all have been named most dangerous vampires in New England," she began. But I interrupted.

"Aww... did we steal your title?" I joked menacingly. She glared at me.

"Actually I'm the cruelest vampire. There's a difference. As I was saying, as Councilor of the New England area, I have been given the right to kill all of you. And I planned to." She said, as most of us winced, at the thought of our end. "Until I realized you were all frosh, and decided to help you all learn how to control your urges. Do not blow your chance. You must realize it took a lot of convincing from my dear Crimson and Kiley to not kill you all."

"What did you do with all of those humans" asked a brunette girl from across the room. Ae--- what's her face smiled evilly.

"I ate them." She laughed. Before she could continue I pounced on her. I grabbed her throat and slammed her to the wall. She winced quickly before composing herself. I glared at her eyes, and she smirked back.

"How could you just take away the lives of ten people and not care?" I asked icily. She looked at me directly in the eyes, searching, before smiling again. She laughed a little, making me even angrier. She simply stood there, and seemed to tilt her head as if inviting me to bite her. I then bared my teeth at her and went in to rip her throat out.

"STOP!" a small blonde in my room shouted, and Aelia looked at her with interest.

I forgot what I was going to say in this chapter so... yeah. It'll get better. PROMISE!
