Next day
Taylor's POV
I woke up seeing that Tom must have carried me to bed last night. I cover my eyes as the sun pierces through the window. I check my phone and see that it is 10 in the morning. I jump out of bed and brush my hair. I walk down and hear laughing coming from the kitchen. It sounds like Tom and Sophie. God I love that girl. She puts a smile on my face every time I look at her Instagram or when we FaceTime. Which was very often.
"Good morning darling!" Tom says and kisses me.
"Good morning!" I say back.
"Good morning Sophie." I say.
"Good morning Taylor." She says.
Sophie's POV
Tom had made pancakes for breakfast and he is so nice. He kept joking around with me and he is just perfect.
"So, Sophie, how did you sleep?" Taylor asks me.
"Really good actually." I tell her and smile.
"Good." She says and continues to eat.
She started to talk to Tom but I wasn't really paying attention.
"Do you think she heard us?" Was all I could hear and look up from my plate of food.
"Sophie, did you hear mine and Taylor's conversation last night?" Tom asks me and looks me in the eye.
Oh no. What do I say?
"Umm, I kind of did." I say and they look at me.
"Well, just don't go telling people that I said that because what happens in this house. Okay?" Taylor says to me.
"Okay mom- I mean Taylor." I said and looked down. I called her mom. What's happening to me. All I hear is Taylor laughing and telling me that it was okay and that she didn't mind it.
"Sophie, are you alright?" Tom asked me.
"Yea, I'm okay." I say not looking up.
"Sophie, what's wrong?" Taylor asks me.
"Nothing, just a little tired still." I say and lie.
I walk up to the room I'm staying in and hear a knock on the door.
"Sophie, do you want to talk?" Taylor asks.
Taylor's POV
After that whole thing downstairs, I had asked Sophie if she wants to talk. I open the door and see her sitting on the bed and crying.
"Oh Sophie." I say and walk towards her. I pull her into me and just let her cry.
Once she finally stopped, I decided to ask her is she wants to talk about it.
"I- I don't know why I'm crying. I really don't know. But I will tell you that I- I am scared. Scared about the wedding. And I know it's your wedding, but I'm just really scared." She says and starts crying again.
"Hey, I'm scared too. This is something different for me. But I'm a bit calmer knowing that you are going to be there." I tell her. We just sit there in silence.
While Sophie and I sat there hugging, Tom came in. Which kind of startled us.
"Do you guys want to me to leave you alone?" He asks us. Mostly me.
"No you can come in." I tell him. Sophie stays in my arms. She sort of flinched when Tom sat next to her. If someone would have come I. They would look like a family.
"Sophie, I kind of liked it when you called me mom." I tell her. She looks up at me. Her eyes red and puffy.
"Really? It didn't make you feel awkward?" She asks.
"No it didn't." I say and smile.
We sit there for a little while until someone pounds on the door.
Tom's POV
I get up to go check who's at the door.
"Stay here. I don't want you guys getting hurt or anything I will go check who it is and what they want." I tell them. They just nod and sit on the bed.
As I walk down stairs, the pounding of the door gets louder. The cats are hissing at it and staring.
I open the door to someone I never wanted to see again.
"Why are you here?" I ask him but in a stern voice.
"Where is she?" He asks.
"What the hell are you doing here again Calvin?!" I here Taylor yell.
"I can't live without you Taylor. I need you." He says
"No you don't. You have those sluts from the bar." She yells.
Calvin looked mad after Taylor said that. He balled his hands into a fist.
"What the hell Taylor!" He yells.
"Do I have to explain this again? YOU BROKE UP WITH ME. YOU LEFT ME HEART BROKEN. 2 DAYS LATER YOU WERE OUT AT A BAR WITH LIKE 10 GIRLS. AND YOU TELL ME THAT YOU MISS ME?! NO. YOU NEED TO JUST LEAVE ME ALONE. I DID NOT ASK FOR THIS WHEN WE BROKE UP!" She yelled.
Without hesitation, he slapped her. Hard.
"GET THE HELL OUT OF MY HOUSE BEFORE I CALL THE POLICE!" I yell.
He just stood there as Taylor started crying and ran into a room.
"GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE!" I yell once again.
"WHY SHOULD I?! SHE IS MINE!" He yells.
"I DON'T THINK SO CALVIN. SHE ISN'T MARRYING YOU. SHE IS MARRYING ME. SHE HATES YOU. AND YOU HIT HER. I CAN CALL THE POLICE. YOU KNOW I CAN." I yell right back.
"Look, I didn't mean to hit her. She just irritated the hell out of me. I don't know what came over me. Please don't call the police."
"Too late Calvin." I hear Taylor say. She is standing by the stairs. Not wanting to get any closer to him.
Police sirens is all we hear. And out of the corner of my eye, I see Sophie come down stairs.
