INTERROGATIONS pt TWO
NOT EVEN A second to breathe. The minute I sat down, Jessica was already firing off questions.
"Did you guys plan to meet there? Did he kiss you? Did you kiss him? Do you like him? Does he like you? Do you like him more than he likes you? Oh my God are you guys like, dating?" That last question didn't hold the same enthusiasm, there was a bit of resentful tone that I consciously chose to disregard.
"I don't know what you're talking about."
"Bella..."
"Jessica."
"I'm going to start talking pictures of you if you don't answer me. Or I'll just tell Tyler you secretly like him..."
Great! With the deepest sarcasm, if that wasn't obvious.
"No. No. Yes. Yes. Yes. Of course. And maybe, it's up to him. In that order."
Jessica looked at me confused, and then she realized I'd just answered all her questions. Only problem was...
"Wait I don't remember what I asked. I don't remember the order-"
"That doesn't really sound like my problem Jess." I shrugged and faced away from her before focusing on the professor.
"But I -"
"Jessica!" The teacher warned.
"S-Sorry." She whimper before shooting me a pissed off glare.
Thankfully, that shut her up for the rest of the class. And although she was persistent and got me to admit that Edward and I were sort of a thing...unofficially, I got away from her nagging before she can start her probing again.
Although both Jessica and I were heading towards the cafeteria, I zoomed away from her making my way downstairs and found who I was looking for. It looked like he was coming to meet me so he ending up escorting along the way.
When our eyes met, he looked piqued. His eyes taking me in as consuming thoughts seemed to flutter through his mind. I opened my mouth to speak but he shot me such a breathtaking smile I honestly forgot how to.
"What?" He chuckled modestly. I didn't answer still taken by him so he waved his long digits in my face. It was like a scene out of a movie.
"Huh? What?" I fell head first into reality. "I'm sorry you just--"
"I just what?" he asked coyly.
"You're just really fucking..."
"Fucking...?"
I cleared my throat. Something about Edward Cullen cursing really did something to me.
"Dazzling."
He tilted his head a few degrees to his right and fought a chuckle. "Dazzling, huh? That's a first."
Soon we were walking down the halls towards the cafeteria and Edward could no longer contain his questions.
"So... you and I, we are really dating?"
I look up and decided at that moment, "I'd say yes. Is that a problem?"
He leaned into me and raised a brow before smiling brightly. "No ma'am."
I bit down on my lower lip and fought the rising corners of my mouth. "Good."
"Good."
He followed close behind me as we arrived to the cafeteria. It was full, fuller than usual. But even as tens of kids shoved themselves to fit on the small tables provided by school, no one dared to sit at Edwards table. If it were someone else, perhaps they'd feel offended, but not Edward. He walked over to the table and waited for me to sit before he sprung more questions at me.
