"Breathe Lia. It isn't every day you are the maid of honour." Lia whispered, pacing nervously in front of the huge mahogany door. This is going to be the best day of their lives and they are gonna need someone to be logical."

"I look like trash! How the hell does my suit now make me look like a fat old man?" Tony yelled through the door, making Lia chuckle as she lifter her hand to knock, hearing something crash, followed by a curse.

"Tony? Can I come in?" It was silent for a second before the door swung open, revealing a very red, very sweaty Tony whose hair was sticking up in every direction and looked like he might have a panic attack at any moment.

"Of course dear. I am just having wedding day jitters, is all." He said and she smiled, pulling him into a loving hug.

"I think you look dashing! Stephen won't be able to keep his eyes off of you." She said and pressed a kiss to his cheek before pulling him over to the vanity. It was cluttered with makeup and hair products, including his iron-man glasses, which she sent him a look for. Tony shrugged and grabbed them, pushing them into his pocket.

"You never know. Now help me look pretty." He said and took a seat, re-buttoning his shirt. Lia shook her head and got to work, putting everything together for him. After months of the two ogling each other, Stephen had finally popped the question, about an hour after Tony decided he would do it himself. Lia laughed as she remembered the surprised expression on her uncle's face and the look of pure love on Stephen's.

"There. All pretty." She said, looking at his reflection as he smiled shakily.

"Thank you, sweetie...can I ask you something?" He asked, placing his hand over hers as it rested on his shoulder.

"Of course."

"Do you...Am I good enough for him?" He asked, all the confidence and bravado he always played up slipping aside. Lia leaned down then, wrapping her arms around his shoulders and keeping eye contact with him in the vanity's reflection.

"You are. Never believe that you aren't. You are made for each other, you hear me?" She asked and he nodded after a second, smiling.

"I hear you. And can you promise me something?" He asked, pulling back to look at her. Lia smiled and nodded, stepping back.

"No matter what happens between you and Tom, don't forget about your love, okay? You both have some secrets that you need to share, but you will be so much stronger together after it." He said and Lia chuckled, confused.

"Um, okay, alright, I promise." She said and he stood, grabbing onto her shoulders. His smile had slipped away and he had an almost haunted look in his eyes.

"Really promise me, Lia. I don't want to see either of you get hurt." He said and she nodded, promising him before they both heard a knock at the door.

"Dad? Are you ready?" Peter's voice called, slightly muffled through the door. Tony took a deep breath before he saw how Lia was offering her arm to him.

"Shall we?" She asked and he smiled, taking her offered arm as they both walked out of the room and towards the ceremony. Peter took Tony's other arm, smiling blindingly up at his father.

The music picked up as they turned to walk down the isle, everyone standing and turning to watch as they walked, Tony's white tuxedo glowing in the soft twilight. Lia felt a rush of pride at being able to throw it all together so fast, smiling at everyone they passed.

The isle was littered with flower petals and was canopied by blooming pink and white cherry blossom trees. At the end of the isle, Stephen stood, a stunning smile on his face as he watched Tony walk down the isle. Lia could only imagine the way that they were feeling, like they were the only two people on the entire planet.
