Hello! So, I’ve had this done for a while now. I watched this episode when it came out on Nick.com, but I wanted to wait to post it until it aired on television. That way, more people had a chance to see it.

Ok, so this is my first review and I feel as though I have to impress you guys. This is definitely not the episode for impressing, however, so we'll see how this goes.

Wow. Big Trouble in Little China? Is that you? If you haven't seen the movie, check it out. I believe it's on Netflix.

First things first, this was a total what the heck episode. For starters, I was totally under the wrong impression about what this episode's plot was. For some reason, I thought this was going to be about Karai running a rampage or something. I'm not quite sure where I got that, but I was in for a surprise when a Capril vs. Arpitello popped up on my screen.

I kept waiting and waiting for a Snake mutant to show up, but sadly Karai was only mentioned.

After I got over my initial disappointment, I settled back down and psyched myself up for a cliché love triangle episode. And cliché it was.

Following suit of the other Donnie/April/Casey story lines, Donnie and Casey fight. April pretends she doesn't know they are madly in love with her. They all have to team up. April gets kidnapped...again.

So the Purple Dragons break into a museum and Casey, Donnie and April follow and fight them. They end up destroying a lot of artifacts in the process of trying to stop them. Like, ok. Are you trying to stop them from stealing or did you just want to beat up some Purple Dragons to make yourselves feel better? I’m opting for the latter of the two.

We also get a quick Steranko—I believe that is how you spell it—mention. WHEN WILL THIS GUY MUTATE INTO ROCKSTEADY? I need this to happen, even though I’m against the whole ‘let’s mutate every human that comes into the show! Muahaha!’ thing it just needs to happen.

Anyway, just when I thought the episode couldn't get any more cliché, something different does happen.

A lovely ghost appears.

Yes, Ho Chan, he beefs up the Purple Dragons by giving them magic powers through these hats. I don’t really know, it was weird.

Oh and if you didn’t know: simpering is to smile in a silly self-conscious way. (dictionary.com)

I really enjoyed how Ho Chan instantly knew these guys were a bunch of idiotic losers. Snaps for you, Ho Chan, you know the signs of being dumb.

Then, he decides he needs April to become human again. And I ask myself, why does every bad guy’s plot revolve around needing April and her illusive power no one really understands? Seriously it’s getting slightly old. Love ya, April! <3

Not only that, but it seems Irma has a special little something too. Maybe they both just have a lot of girl power? They are quite badass, but what’s with the powers thing? Is anyone normal on this show? Don’t answer that. I am not a simpering idiot.

Ho Chan then proceeds to dump the poor Purple Dragons. Turning Leo, Mikey and Raph into his badass crew. If you listen closely, you can hear me play the worlds smallest violin from Spongebob…cough cough…No, but I did feel for the Dragons. Those poor unfortunate souls. They'll find someone who wants them.

Donnie and Casey team up, distract the turtles with pizza, fight Ho Chan and save the girls! Oh, wait. No, they didn’t do the last part. April did.

Again, I’m all for girl power. April and Irma are wonderful, cool characters, but I just felt that the boys teaming up led to nothing. It was slightly anticlimactic for me. I’m glad April is improving and all, but it would’ve been nice to see Donnie and Casey figure it out and save the girls. Oh well.
