I never look back, darling. It distracts me from now.
3 days until the ball

Taehyung

Jung Hoseok. He wasn't a good match for my Jungkookie. Not by far.

- What are you frowning about so early in the morning?

- Nothing, I just don't think that Hoseok is worthy of taking m- I mean, Jungkookie to the ball. - I say huffing.

- Yeah? That's called jealousy. You know? When you see someone you like with someone else? - he said in a mocking tone.

I rolled my eyes, maybe I did like him, whatever it was just a ball anyway. I'll take Yoona there so she'll be happy and I'll feel that the debt I have with her for giving me the cake will be over. Then I can be with him. If he wants of course.

I decide to tell him during break time, I hope he does feel the same way:

- Taehyung oppa, can we spend break time together? - I see Yoona coming closer.

I never really realized we attended the same class:

- I'm sorry Yoona, I have plans already. - I said

She pouted:

- Oh my god, you're that creepy girl that was following us that day. - Yoongi said widening his eyes.

- I'm sorry for that, I wanted to tell you that day that I liked you, but I wasn't brave enough - she said laughing cutely.

For some reason that shy and cute style didn't fit her anymore, I kept thinking about the way she treated Jungkook. She swayed back to her place.

Break time finally came and the first thing I did was try to find Jungkook. I went with Yoongi to the cafeteria that was closer to the sophomore building. We go there a lot since it's much quieter. I found him talking to Hoseok, Namjoon, and Seokjin, they were laughing, and even Jungkook, that was more shy was giggling happily hiding his face in his pumpkin sweater paw:

- You seem angry. - Yoongi said.

- I'm not! - I said bumping my hand on the table.

The loud noise made people stare at me, but I couldn't care less. I see Minjae entering the cafeteria, he was carrying a bottle of banana milk. He had a smirk on his face as passed through our table and went towards Jungkook's:

- Something is wrong Taehyung. - but it was too late.

He "accidentally" dropped everything on top of the sweet boy. Jungkook gasped surprised and stood up. His friends did too, glaring at the other boy. I stood up angry and was about to beat Minjae up when I noticed the brown-haired boy was gone.

I saw his back turning around the bathroom door and quickly followed him inside. He was tearing up as he tried to clean the stains in his sweater. My heart clenched at the sight:

- Jungkookie? - he looked at me with doe eyes filled with tears.

- Don't be sad, he's a jerk, he wants you to be sad, you need to show him you're better than this. - I said caressing his cheeks drying his tears.

- But I'm not! It does make me sad hyung, I-I just - he kept crying.

I took off my hoodie, almost instantly regretting it since it was cold as hell. But it was for a good cause:

- Here, wear mine. - I said giving it to him.

His eyes widened:

- W-What? I-I can't, it's cold, you're going to get sick! - he said between hiccups.

I sighed and proceeded to take his sweater off him, leaving only a white t-shirt underneath. He shivered in cold so I quickly put my hoodie on. It was really oversized and the sleeves were hanging, but he seemed to like it.

Jungkook giggled looking at his hands that had disappeared inside the hoodie:

- Thanks, hyung. I-I'll give it back tomorrow. - he said smiling.

- You don't have to. It looks better on you anyway. - I said hugging him tightly.

He hugged back:

- You're cold. Are you sure it's okay?

- Yes, yes I'm sure. - I said sighing. - But you know what, you could hug me like this all day so I can be warm.

He giggled:

- I don't think my teachers are going to like it. - he said muffled by my shirt.

I let him go:

- Come now, our friends are going to worry. - he smiled, I loved his smile, and I hated Minjae for making him cry. - And I still got some beating to do.

- I already told you, you don't have to this. - he said awkwardly.

- He just won't stop, I need to teach him a lesson this time. - I said sighing.

- Maybe he likes you. - the brown-haired boy stated.

- What?

- O-Oh, you know? There are people who don't know how to show their feelings, so they get mad and do bad stuff to their crush, or people close to them. - he said. - Instead of beating him up, you should try talking to him hyung.

I looked at him fondly, he was just so cute, no wonder I liked him:

- What about you?

- Huh? - he asked.

- Do you like me? I heard cute boys like you get super flustered around people they like. - he turned red and started stuttering.

I giggled at him, he was so nervous he tried hiding his face with his hands, I cupped his face:

- I know you're going with Hoseok to the ball. But save a dance for me okay? - I pecked the tip of his nose and left.

I still needed to talk to someone.

- Hey Minjae! - I said to the boy that was completely beaten up.

- What? You want to beat me up too. - he said.

- No, I just want to talk to you. - I said calmly sitting beside him. - You see, Jungkook told me something and I want to know if it's true.

He gulped:

- Minjae, do you fancy me? - I asked.

- W-What, pfff, did that piece of trash really say that? Of course not I - I cut him off.

- You do, don't you? - I said furrowing my eyebrows.

He started to breathe unevenly:

- Minjae, you don't need to be embarrassed about that, I'm really sorry if I don't feel the same way, but doing what you're doing to Kookie isn't nice. I'm not going to start liking because of that. - I said wholeheartedly.

He started tearing up:

- I-I know, I just heard him talking to Jimin about giving you a gift so that he could confess, an-and I was so mad because I couldn't do the same. - he sobbed. - I'm sorry Taehyung.

I widened my eyes:

- What did you just say? - I asked.

- I-I heard him talking with Jimin? - My heart started beating faster.

I knew it couldn't be Yoona the one who gave me the treat:

- Minjae, it's okay, just say sorry to him. And don't worry, you'll find someone better.
