Elsa

Elsa tried to calm herself before twisting the doorknob open. She had barely left the room in her life, and it always made her nervous. With a slight creak, the door opened.  She pressed her fingers against her lips, signaling to be quiet. She led Leo to a spare room.

"Thank you." He said before he went to bed.

Elsa quickly wrote a letter to the temporary leader, Anderson, explaining Leo's visit. She simply stated that Leo was visiting, not wanting to explain the truth.

She sighed and made her way back to bed. She could not sleep again, though. Whenever her eyes closed, images of Leo's dark blue eyes floated in her mind.

'Stop thinking about him like that!" She scolded herself.

To dream like that was to ensure a broken heart. To think of him like that, only to be reminded what she really was. A monster. A freak. A princess forever cursed.

If she let him in, she would have problems with her secret. Elsa could never let them in.

Leo

Leo lied awake at night. He stared up at the pitch black ceiling, and Elsa's face appeared. Her beautiful platinum blonde hair that fell freely at her waist. Her small raspberry colored lips. Her icy blue eyes that seemed as if you could lose yourself in it....Wait!

'I can't like her like that! She is a princess! And I'm just a freak playing human.' He angrily told himself.

He couldn't hurt another. He had been so in love with Karai. He would have gone to the ends of the earth for her. Then he had to go and let her be mutated like that. Now she was a mindless serpent, wandering around who knows where.

He couldn't let his own love hurt someone. He just couldn't go through another Karai.

But, he couldn't help but think of her again.
