At 12 o'clock on October 1st, 1989, a healthy baby girl was born to Carol and Jonathan Adams. This was strange for a number of reasons.
One: When the day had first begun, Carol had not been pregnant.
Two: The couple had previously been told by a number of doctors that their chances of getting pregnant were significantly low.
Three: A few days after the birth, a strange man named Sir Reginald Hargreeves appeared and offered to take the baby off their hands in return for a large sum of money.
