Dylan
My boots splash in the puddles leftover from the late night rain and my heart thunders in my chest as I walk across the street from the station to the donut shop. I stopped by the station to drop my bags and change into my uniform while I waited for the shift change at Sprinkles. After being forced to leave Zoe far too early, I wasn't going to chance missing another minute to be with her. The smile on my face grows the closer I get to seeing Zoe. Just as I stop in front of the shop windows, Zoe comes twirling out of the kitchen with the cash drawer in her hands. She comes to a stop in front of the register and bends down with one leg raising high up behind her as she slides the drawer in place. An ear to ear smile slides across my face while I watch her cute little dance. I can envision her dancing in our kitchen while we make breakfast. She ends the show bumping the cash drawer closed with her hip. Damn that was cute.
The door chimes as I enter the shop. Zoe turns in my direction and that smile that melted me yesterday takes over her face. All day and night I could only think about that smile. I dreamed about waking up to that smile, being greeted by that beautiful face when I got home after a long shift. Making that smile turn into pure uninhibited passion as I make her come. My dick hardens at the thought of her under me.
"Good morning Dylan." That sweet voice of hers is like music to my ears. I'm going to love hearing that voice in my ear every day for the rest of our lives.
"Good morning angel." I smile and slide into one of the stools at the counter.
"What can I get you?" she asks, taking out an order pad and a pen from the front of her apron.
"I would love you covered in passion fruit glaze." I wink. Zoe's cheeks turn three shades of pink.
"Unfortunately, that is not on the menu today." She giggles. Her cheeks turn a bright shade of red.
"Damn, I came on the wrong day."
Zoe eyes me up and down. Her bottom lip disappearing between her teeth. "If you play your cards right that special will be available sooner than you think." She gives me a glimmer of hope. "Until then I can offer you the passion fruit donuts and a cup of coffee," she offers.
I let out an unsatisfied sigh. "I guess that will do, but I will need three of those delicious donuts."
"Someone has a mighty big sweet tooth." A grin tugs at the corner of her mouth. If I can't have her for breakfast, a man has to have something to satisfy his sweet tooth.
"You have no idea." I wink. It's getting bigger by the minute just looking at Zoe. "Zoe what do you do when you are not being adorable and handing out donuts?" I ask. My comment brings the flush back in her cheeks.
"I'm always adorable." She giggles, reaching into the display case picking out the donuts. I believe that. "When I'm not working here, I am a principle dancer with the Pacific Northwest Ballet," she says proudly. My angel is a ballerina. That explains the dancing around the shop earlier. I would give anything to see her perform. She slides the plate of donuts. "I was actually made principle last week."
"Congratulations, Zoe. That is amazing."
"Thank you." She smiles from ear to ear. "This has been a dream of mine since I was a little girl. My mom took me to see the Nutcracker when I was four and I was hooked from the first moment the dancers took the stage."
"When is your first performance, I would love to come."
"It will be in three months when the season begins. I will be Belle in our production of Beauty and The Beast." Zoe sets a coffee cup in front of me and fills it with coffee.
