Please be patient throughout the first three/four chapters. The beginning will be rewritten, once this story has been finished.
As mentioned before, this story includes multiple times the character talking about wanting commit suicide. I cannot explain why that is without spoiling you something, so you will just have to trust my words that for someone who repeatedly talks about it, Soren is not really suicidal.
