The station-ch7

-chapter 7

"maya." I whispered as we drove in the back of the police car "what?" she whispered back "what should I tell them happened?" I asked, she looked at me funny "were you planning on lying?! Tell them exactly what happened." she said "I just don't want to be sent back home so I'd lie if I had to!" I said, I think the police officers heard cause the one in the passenger hit the window with his baton "no! no lying I was defending myself she grabbed my arm, how would I know what she was going to do, she could have stabbed me. Just tell the the truth." she said and we just sat in silence for the rest of the ride.

We arrived at the station and they separated me and maya into two different rooms. The rooms had mirrors (from watching tv I knew it must be one way glass) and the whole time I just sat there staring at the mirror. I sat for about 7 minutes till someone walked in and said "ok we'd like to hear your story now." he said to me as his female partner walked in "ok." I said. The female partner sat down across the table "I'm Jenna and this is my partner James, we need your story from the beginniwhen you went shopping." she told me, I wanted to say *well duh he basically just said that*. But I didn't "ok well we went in and got some of the stuff we needed and then went to the cereal isle to get, well cereal." I told her "then what you saw her?" she asked "yeah we saw JB girl and ducked." I said to her Unaware she doesn't know what JB girl means "JB girl? Do you mean Rebecca?" she asked "yeah whatever her name is." I said "ok well go on." she said writing in her book, what could she possibly be writing *does not know name* "ok so we went behind the shelves and she was screaming that she saw us, we ran and hid behind one of the freezer shelves and she found us again. We ran around till we came back to the freezer section and hid in the actual freezer for a bit till she found us and we ran again left the freezer and she was waiting outside for us and she started yelling in our faces and threatening us.." I was saying till James cut me off "threats what kind of threats?" he asked "well not exactly threats but she was saying she wanted to pay for her dads bike and for telling her to be quiet, but her voice definitely not nice." I said watching Jenna write again "so you owe jack money?" Jenna asked "no I accidentally knocked his bike over." I said "ohh." she said writing AGAIN. "ok is that all?" James asked "no cause after she was yelling maya grabbed my arm so we could run away and "Rebecca", then she grabbed Maya's arm and maya let go of me and Uhh..." I said pausing "then she hit her right?" asked James "umm yeah but I guess it was self defense cause rebecca was angry and she put her hands on maya so." I said defending maya. "ok I think thats all we need." said Jenna looking at James, he nodded and they left leaving me locked in the room again.

This seems way more... Important than it is it's not like maya stabbed her... Oh wait maybe she did I didn't look back and she didn't come chasing after us, although where would maya have gotten a knive? I got up from the table a blank expression on my face and started slamming my fists on the door, I kept hitting it harder and harder till James opened it "WHAT!" he yelled "can I talk to rebecca?" I asked "nooo!" he said like I was going to stab her again "why? Can you at least tell me if she's ok?" I said "why do you care?!" he said "just is she?" I demanded to know "yes why she only got punched!" she said "oh, can I talk to jack?" I asked "whyyy?!" he said even more aggravated "i need to ask him a question." I told him "fine but remember we can hear and see you in this room." James said walking out and locking the door once again.

Three minutes later jack walked in and sat down "what?" he said "do you need me to pay for what happened to your bike?" I asked "oh no its only I little scratch it's like a 20 dollar paint job." he said, oh really "huh well at the store Rebecca said it was 400 dollars." I told him "really! Oh no it's not that much." he said dissapointed his daughter would try to con me like that. A police walked in and told jack to go with him, leaving me alone in a locked room again.

"your free to go." a policeman came in and said to me. Finally I'm out!

As we walked down the hallway I asked if maya was coming out and suprisingly he said yeah!

"MAYA!" I screamed as I saw her "that wasn't very long." she said looking back at the station "what it was like an hour!" I yelled at her " I've been for longer..."

XD today is the first day of school... Fun -____-but any ways guys I'll tell u that in story time it's been..... 3 days in B.C! Lol any way I'm going to skip a few days here and there just to make the book, less boring. I hope u guys like it!
