Part 14- Bruises

Enoch O'connor was as broken as a window with a bullet shot through it. She was gone and she would be for a long time. A piece of him thought that she was gone forever the other thought that she was gone. Days bled into months and months ripped into years and the wounds on Enoch O'connor's heart were ripping open once more, never healing as a reminder of the girl he couldn't help.He went back to his glum, sarcastic self Angry. Heartless. He remained that way when Abe Portman's grandson arrived. His name was Jacob and every word he spoke added another log onto the fire, that was his burning hatred for everyone and everything.

All hope was gone.

There was a knock at his door. It was Horace.

"Enoch!" he opened the door

"What do you want Horace?" He said angrily.

"I saw her! Toni, shes coming back!"

Enoch did something that he never thought he would do. He smiled
