You are also a sniper in this oneshot. Just a head up.
"Hey Sniper. You alright, man?" y/n asked Sniper, who quickly realized that he had been staring off into space. He felt his face heat up slightly and looked away.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Just... thinking about our trip." He replied, turning back with a forced smile.

"You must really want to get started then." y/n said, returning the smile before walking off to start putting his stuff in Sniper's van. Sniper wasn't technically lying when he said he was thinking about the camping trip y/n and him were going on. He loved the outdoors and would normally be fine with camping, but he had to be with alone with y/n. That was his issue. Sniper had secretly had feelings for his co-worker for almost a year now, but couldn't bring himself to confess. Sniper had never felt the way he does around y/n with anyone else. He would start to worry about every little thing and would find it incredibly hard to speak. This shocked most of the team since they had never seen him act like this. Yes he was anti social, but he never had a problem with speaking his mind before y/n showed up. Sniper was worried that he would embarrasses himself on the trip. A few weeks ago, y/n decided that he wanted to get out of the base for the upcoming ceasefire and go camping. He originally planned to go alone, like always, but Scout convinced him that it would be a great idea to invite Sniper along. y/n then asked Sniper about it, to which he begrudgingly replied yes, since he didn't want to upset or offend the male. He also had the other mercs, who were pushing him to confess and told him it would be a wonderful bonding experience. Telling him that he would thank them when it was all said and done.

"Sniper!" Sniper broke out of his daze and realized y/n was having trouble with some of the bags. He rushed over to help with the bags and apologized.

"Sorry mate. Got lost in thought again." He muttered, so low that y/n could barely hear him.

"It's fine. You seem to be thinking a lot today. Are you sure you want to go on this trip with me?"

"What? O-Of course I want to go on this trip. I'm fine y/n." Sniper stutters out, hoping he didn't sounded believable.

"I'm just saying if you need to do anything, we could always cancel." Sniper shook his head.

"I promise you, I'm fine." y/n nodded and placed the bags he was carrying in the back of the van. Sniper did the same and the two of them said their goodbyes to the other mercs that were still at the base. y/n then hopped into the passenger seat and Sniper went on the driver's side, starting the van. The two of them drove in silence at first until y/n turned on the radio and tried to start a conversation.
"This is going to be great. Just you, me, and the outdoors for three whole days. No Scout to bother us or Soldier to wake us up." y/n cheered, dreaming about the wonderful next few days, fully stress free. At least for him. Sniper nervously agreed as the woodlands slowly came into view.
"You know, as the others said, this could be a good bonding trip for us. It's weird that despite the fact that we're the same class, we never seem to hang out much."
"Y-Yeah. It sure is odd." He mumbled. The van came to a halt as they arrived in front of the woods. They both grabbed what they needed for the trip and started looking for a good spot to set up. y/n finally spotted one and ordered Sniper to set up the tent while he started to unpack everything else. Sniper simply nodded and started with his task. y/n had finished unpacking most of the belongings when he stumbled across a few flimsy targets he packed to practice his aim with. He grinned and excitedly pushed everything aside to set up the targets, rushing back to the van to grab his bow that he had left behind. Sniper noticed this and saw y/n run back to the camping site with both of their bows and a few arrows tucked under his arms. Sniper had finished the tent by now with no trouble, which y/n seemed amazed by.

"Wow that was quick. The boys were right, you are great to have on a camping trip." y/n congratulated, staring at the tent set up perfectly. Sniper felt a goofy smile begin to form on his face and went to hide it behind his hand.

"It's really nothing. You get used to it after years of camping." He muttered through his hand as a response. y/n also noticed this action but didn't question Sniper on it. He simply tossed Sniper his bow and half of the arrows before motioning to the targets that were set up in a rush. Without a reply, y/n started to position himself with an arrow pulled back, ready to fire. He showed no hesitation and shot the arrow almost as quick as he had set it up and the arrow flew to the center dot.

"Ha!" y/n jumped up and cheered. He then glanced at Sniper and said, "Your turn." Sniper looked at the targets and started to feel his anxiety build up inside him. It wasn't like this was difficult, the targets were set up in easy spots. Even an amateur sniper could hit it. But that's what he was worried about. What if he messed up somehow and y/n would think less of him? Sniper started to panic and didn't realize that y/n was talking to him.

"Mundy!" y/n shouted, using Sniper's actual name as he lightly pushed his coworker. Sniper blinked and snapped back to reality.

"W-What? Did you just use my-"

"Yes I did." y/n sighed.

"Mundy are you positive, and answer honestly, that you are ok." Sniper stared at y/n then quietly asked, "What do you mean?" Although he knew what y/n was talking about.

"You've been acting paranoid this entire trip, like you got this demon or something hunting you. I know that's not what's going on, but I can see that something is bothering you." y/n explains, his tone turning somber as he sat down next to Sniper and placed a hand on his shoulder.

"Please tell me what's going on. I don't want to see you like this." Sniper thought about it. Should he tell the truth? The voice inside him shouted for him to keep quiet. But y/n was honestly worried. This could be his only chance to get the stress off his shoulders. Even if he got rejected, it would hopefully help him feel better.

"I... have to tell you about something." Sniper finally spoke up.

"For the longest time I've had these.. f-feelings for you that I haven't felt for anyone else." Sniper started, struggling to say feelings. He felt his anxiety rise to horrible degrees while talking. Thankfully, he was cut off by a hug before he could continue forcing the words out. He hesitantly looked down to see y/n clinging on to him with his head buried into his chest. He then heard nervous laughter come from his crush.

"Was that it?" y/n asked, finally pulling back, his face a bit pink and a smile on his face.

"I was actually worried something horrible had happened." Sniper was a taken back by the reaction. It wasn't at all what he thought would happen.

"So is that a no or a yes?" Sniper awkwardly asked. y/n turned to him and kissed him on the cheek, causing Mundy to freeze and turn a bright red. y/n stepped back and laughed at the sight. Sniper started to laugh as well, feeling a warmth grow in his chest as y/n moved to put his head on his shoulder.
