Mᴀʏ ᴛʜᴇ ʙᴇsᴛ ʙɪᴛᴄʜ ᴡɪɴSo, 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔 is what he's been up to. This morning I left my office a little earlier for lunch to be the awesome wife that I am and pick my man up some lunch from his favorite spot. He told me he would have a busy morning. I didn't realize he would be busy with another female. "𝐻𝑚𝑚? 𝐶𝑎𝑡 𝑐𝑎𝑢𝑔ℎ𝑡 𝑦𝑜𝑢𝑟 𝑡𝑜𝑛𝑔𝑢𝑒?"
"𝐻𝑖, 𝑏𝑎𝑏𝑦!" he jumps up and hugs me like he hasn't seen me for a week. I don't hug back. Honestly, if I wasn't this mad I'd think he was praying for someone to save him from this awkward situation. He shouldn't have put himself in that position in the first place, so excuse me if I don't feel sorry for him right now. "𝑌𝑜𝑢 𝑟𝑒𝑚𝑒𝑚𝑏𝑒𝑟 𝐷𝑎𝑦𝑛𝑎? 𝐷𝑎𝑦𝑛𝑎 𝐷-𝐷𝑎𝑣𝑖𝑠, 𝑓𝑟𝑜𝑚 ℎ𝑖𝑔ℎ 𝑠𝑐ℎ𝑜𝑜𝑙?" he stutters nervously. Oh, one of the only white girls in high school. How could I not? I don't remember her looking like this though. "I remember her, alright. I don't remember you guys being this comfortable though"
"𝐻𝑖 𝑍𝑎𝑛𝑖𝑦𝑎ℎ, 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑙𝑜𝑜𝑘 𝑎𝑠 𝑟𝑎𝑑𝑖𝑎𝑛𝑡 𝑎𝑠 𝑒𝑣𝑒𝑟!!!!" she lunges at me for a hug. Before I could stop her, she embraced me like we actually had a friendship once. Again, I don't hug back. "𝐻𝑎𝑣𝑒 𝑤𝑒 𝑎𝑐𝑡𝑢𝑎𝑙𝑙𝑦 𝑚𝑒𝑡 𝑏𝑒𝑓𝑜𝑟𝑒? 𝐻𝑎𝑣𝑒 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑔𝑢𝑦𝑠? 𝑆𝑒𝑒𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑎𝑠 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑔𝑢𝑦𝑠 𝑙𝑜𝑜𝑘𝑒𝑑 𝑚𝑖𝑔ℎ𝑡𝑦 𝑓𝑟𝑖𝑒𝑛𝑑𝑙𝑦 𝑗𝑢𝑠𝑡 𝑛𝑜𝑤". Someone's going to answer my questions, God damn it. "𝑂ℎ, 𝑛𝑜. 𝑇𝑜𝑑𝑎𝑦'𝑠 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑓𝑖𝑟𝑠𝑡 𝑑𝑎𝑦 𝐼'𝑣𝑒 𝑠𝑒𝑒𝑛 𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑠 ℎ𝑎𝑛𝑑𝑠𝑜𝑚𝑒 𝑚𝑎𝑛 𝑖𝑛 𝑎 𝑑𝑒𝑐𝑎𝑑𝑒 𝑜𝑟 𝑚𝑜𝑟𝑒" she says as she lets one finger run down his arm. Dimitri tries to avoid her touch and I, I am about one second away of busting him ánd her upside their heads. "𝑇𝑜𝑢𝑐ℎ ℎ𝑖𝑚 𝑙𝑖𝑘𝑒 𝑡ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑜𝑛𝑒 𝑚𝑜𝑟𝑒 𝑡𝑖𝑚𝑒"
"𝐸𝑥𝑐𝑢𝑠𝑒 𝑚𝑒"
"𝐼 𝑑𝑎𝑟𝑒 𝑦𝑜𝑢"
"𝑌𝑒𝑠, 𝑐𝑎𝑛 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑝𝑙𝑒𝑎𝑠𝑒 𝑒𝑥𝑐𝑢𝑠𝑒 𝑢𝑠 𝑓𝑜𝑟 𝑎 𝑠𝑒𝑐𝑜𝑛𝑑 𝐷𝑎𝑦𝑛𝑎?"
"𝑆𝑢𝑟𝑒, 𝐷. 𝐴𝑛𝑦𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑓𝑜𝑟 𝑦𝑜𝑢. 𝐼'𝑙𝑙 𝑟𝑢𝑛 𝑡𝑜 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑙𝑎𝑑𝑖𝑒𝑠 𝑟𝑜𝑜𝑚" she says, smiles at me and walks off to the bathroom.
"𝑆𝑒𝑒 𝐷𝑖𝑚𝑖𝑡𝑟𝑖, 𝑤ℎ𝑦 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑔𝑜𝑡𝑡𝑎 𝑝𝑢𝑡 𝑚𝑒 𝑖𝑛 𝑠𝑖𝑡𝑢𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛 𝑡ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝐼'𝑑 ℎ𝑎𝑣𝑒 𝑡𝑜 𝑔𝑒𝑡 𝑜𝑢𝑡 𝑜𝑓 𝑐ℎ𝑎𝑟𝑎𝑐𝑡𝑒𝑟? 𝑌𝑜𝑢 𝑘𝑛𝑜𝑤 𝐼'𝑙𝑙 𝑠ℎ𝑎𝑛𝑘 𝑎 𝑏𝑖𝑡𝑐ℎ?" I fixed my blouse, suit, heels and hair and caught him staring at me lovingly. "𝑂ℎ, 𝑟𝑖𝑔ℎ𝑡. 𝑇ℎ𝑖𝑠 𝑖𝑠 𝑎𝑤𝑒𝑠𝑜𝑚𝑒 𝑓𝑜𝑟 𝑦𝑜𝑢𝑟 𝑒𝑔𝑜 𝑟𝑖𝑔ℎ𝑡?""𝐼'𝑚 𝑠𝑜𝑟𝑟𝑦 𝑍. 𝐼 𝑤𝑎𝑠 𝑠ℎ𝑜𝑜𝑘 𝑎𝑠 𝑤𝑒𝑙𝑙. 𝐼 𝑑𝑜𝑛'𝑡 𝑘𝑛𝑜𝑤 𝑤ℎ𝑒𝑟𝑒 𝑎𝑙𝑙 𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑠 𝑖𝑠 𝑐𝑜𝑚𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑓𝑟𝑜𝑚. "𝐻𝑖𝑠 𝑠𝑖𝑠𝑡𝑒𝑟??? 𝑅𝑒𝑎𝑙𝑙𝑦?" Wow, that's horrible. Wait, is he trying to change the subject. This had nothing to do with her almost wanting to devour his face.
"𝑌𝑒𝑠, 𝑡ℎ𝑎𝑡'𝑠 𝑤ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝐼'𝑚 𝑡𝑒𝑙𝑙𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑦𝑜𝑢. 𝑇ℎ𝑖𝑠 𝑒𝑛𝑡𝑖𝑟𝑒 𝑚𝑜𝑟𝑛𝑖𝑛𝑔 ℎ𝑎𝑠 𝑚𝑒 𝑠ℎ𝑜𝑜𝑘 𝑡𝑜 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑐𝑜𝑟𝑒"

"𝐼 𝑐𝑎𝑛'𝑡"
"𝑌𝑜𝑢 𝑐𝑎𝑛'𝑡 𝑜𝑟 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑤𝑜𝑛'𝑡"
"𝑁𝑜, 𝐼 𝑚𝑒𝑎𝑛 𝐼 𝑐𝑎𝑛'𝑡. 𝐼 𝑑𝑜𝑛'𝑡 𝑘𝑛𝑜𝑤 𝑤ℎ𝑒𝑟𝑒 𝑎𝑙𝑙 𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑠 𝑖𝑠 𝑐𝑜𝑚𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑓𝑟𝑜𝑚""𝐿𝑖𝑠𝑡𝑒𝑛, 𝐼 𝑐𝑎𝑛 𝑠𝑒𝑒 𝑦𝑜𝑢𝑟 𝑠𝑛𝑜𝑤 𝑏𝑢𝑛𝑛𝑦 𝑠𝑘𝑖𝑝𝑝𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑜𝑣𝑒𝑟 𝑡𝑜 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑠𝑜 𝐼'𝑙𝑙 𝑙𝑒𝑎𝑣𝑒. 𝐼 𝑤𝑎𝑛𝑡𝑒𝑑 𝑡𝑜 𝑏𝑒 𝑟𝑜𝑚𝑎𝑛𝑡𝑖𝑐 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑏𝑟𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑙𝑢𝑛𝑐ℎ 𝑏𝑢𝑡 𝑠𝑒𝑒, 𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑠 𝑖𝑠 𝑤ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝐼 𝑔𝑒𝑡. 𝐼'𝑙𝑙 𝑗𝑢𝑠𝑡 𝑏𝑟𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑠 𝑀𝑎𝑐 & 𝐶ℎ𝑒𝑒𝑠𝑒 𝑜𝑣𝑒𝑟 𝑡𝑜 𝐽𝑎𝑐𝑘𝑖𝑒. 𝑌𝑜𝑢 𝑑𝑜𝑛'𝑡 𝑑𝑒𝑠𝑒𝑟𝑣𝑒 𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑠."
He chuckles.
"𝐻𝑖 ℎ𝑖 ℎ𝑖, 𝑓𝑢𝑛𝑛𝑦 𝑟𝑖𝑔ℎ𝑡? 𝑊𝑒'𝑙𝑙 𝑡𝑎𝑙𝑘 𝑎𝑏𝑜𝑢𝑡 𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑠 𝑙𝑎𝑡𝑒𝑟"
"𝑂𝑘𝑎𝑦, ℎ𝑜𝑛𝑒𝑦. 𝐼'𝑚 𝑠𝑜𝑟𝑟𝑦." He leans over to kiss me and I dodge it just in time. "𝑌𝑜𝑢 𝑑𝑜𝑛'𝑡 𝑑𝑒𝑠𝑒𝑟𝑣𝑒 𝑡ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑒𝑖𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑟" I say as I glare at both Dimitri and Dayna, who's just joined the conversation.
"𝐼'𝑙𝑙 𝑠𝑒𝑒 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑎𝑡 ℎ𝑜𝑚𝑒"
"𝐼𝑡 𝑤𝑎𝑠 𝑠𝑜 𝑛𝑖𝑐𝑒 𝑡𝑜 𝑠𝑒𝑒 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑎𝑔𝑎𝑖𝑛, 𝑤𝑒 𝑠ℎ𝑜𝑢𝑙𝑑 ℎ𝑎𝑛𝑔 𝑜𝑢𝑡 𝑠𝑜𝑚𝑒 𝑡𝑖𝑚𝑒. 𝐶𝑎𝑡𝑐ℎ 𝑢𝑝, 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑘𝑛𝑜𝑤"
"𝑁𝑎ℎ, 𝐼'𝑚 𝑔𝑜𝑜𝑑. 𝑊𝑒 𝑑𝑜𝑛'𝑡 ℎ𝑎𝑣𝑒 𝑎𝑛𝑦𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑡𝑜 𝑐𝑎𝑡𝑐ℎ 𝑢𝑝 𝑜𝑛 𝑡𝑜 𝑏𝑒 ℎ𝑜𝑛𝑒𝑠𝑡" the nerve of this bitch.
I turn around and walk away.
"𝑊ℎ𝑎𝑡'𝑠 ℎ𝑒𝑟 𝑝𝑟𝑜𝑏𝑙𝑒𝑚?" she asks Dimitri and for one second I stop. Contemplating if I should make a U-turn and shake some common sense into her. "𝐷𝑜𝑛'𝑡 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑟𝑒𝑚𝑒𝑚𝑏𝑒𝑟 𝑍𝑎𝑛𝑖𝑦𝑎ℎ'𝑠 𝑛𝑖𝑐𝑘𝑛𝑎𝑚𝑒; 𝑆𝑡𝑜𝑟𝑚𝑦. Ooh, he just saved your ass baby girl. I resume my walk towards his office.
