Charlie choked on her coffee.

"-erprise's young Co-CEO Timothy Drake-Wayne released a new statement on the status of their new coming-" the news Channel continued to speak but she could only focus on the picture of the umbrella boy she saw the other day.

"He's the CEO's son!?!" She wailed. Dropping her mug on the coffee table she picked up her phone and typed in his name then pressed photos. Most were of him in front of a press, others at galas and one or two of a younger boy and two parents. She wondered if that was Bruce Wayne and his wife. Then she googled him and saw he was unmarried and the picture didn't match that of the two adults with Tim.

"Uh?"

After many hours of searching she found it all out. A news article covered how he was adopted by Bruce Wayne and his birth parents had passed away. Somehow she had gotten into a website about just Wayne Enterprise and what they do. By the time she looked at the clock she realized it was time to go to work.

Upset, she got up and dressed. She wouldn't have to leave this early if she had a car. Now she had to leave a whole hour early to catch a bus. Sighing she left and jogged to the bus stop to start a long day, but unfortunately her thoughts were plagued by a certain boy. After getting down the first flight of stairs she remembered something and dashed back up. Opening her apartment door she gripped the umbrella at the door. Then left again.

The day went by fast. Most of today was photo processing and filters. Charlie worked for a news company, well more like the news company 'The Gotham Gazette'. As cool as that sounds, she was no Vicki Vale, she was just an accountant right now. Truth is Charlie loved to take photos, that's how she got this job. She was going to work her way up, she dreamed of the day some of her shots of Gotham might be front page.

Her heels she wore today made click sounds as she walked back home. She had a large messenger bag that bounced on her leg and the umbrella was hooked though the strap a just barely touched her ankle here and there.

She took the same route as yesterday. Thankfully it was just cloudy today, no rain. Although she still made it a point to walk quickly. She wanted to see if he left work the same time today. She wasn't trying to be a stalker she just felt a little embarrassed she didn't recognize him. She works for a newspaper how could she not? Felt a little dumb asking him if he worked at Wayne Enterprise.

"His dad freaking owns it Charlie" she sighed to herself answering her thoughts out loud.

She saw the building and took in a breath fixing her hair. Checking the surroundings she didn't see him. There was a black limousine parked on the curb and a few people exiting the building. He hasn't come out yet, she slowed her pace to give god time to force him out. She just wanted to see him again. Something pulled her to look inside the door when she walked past. Unfortunately he wasn't in sight.

She almost wined and quickened her pace. She felt a little stupid for hoping she might see him again. Wind picked up and she tugged her jacket off her waist. Walking to the bus stop she realized she got there a little quicker then expected. Next to the the stop was Grant Park, smiling she opened her bag and pulled out her camera. She could find a way to pass the time.

She ended up missing her bus and having to wait another hour for the next. Once it arrived she scanned her bus pass and sat in the middle. About ten minutes into the ride the music that was playing in Charlie's ear was interrupted by her ringtone. She quickly picked up, forgetting to check the number.

"Hello? Yes this is Charlie Lale- yes I did. Did you find him?....What about my car? Oh....What about tomorrow? Could I- 6? Okay, I'll come. Thank you."
