Dreams Come True

Chapter 9

After Adam finished talking, he went up to me and held my hand. He walked as I followed, still holding hands. We walked into the back kitchen.

"Okay, so I organized some food. There are hot dogs, bagels, french fries and salad." Adam says as I giggle.

"I know it's lame, but I didn't have a better idea." He says about to burst out laughing.

"No, it's great! I love salad and hot dogs!" I say laughing as Adam starts laughing too.

"We should go back." Adam says as he walks out of the kitchen.

I take a look at the food when Adam started talking on the microphone.
"Christina, get out here!"

I walk out and everyone states at me.

"Come on, I want you to sing a song!" Adam says waving me over.

I walk until I get to the karaoke station surrounded by my friends.

Adam went to the laptop and picked out a song. "You know this one." He says as he looks at me grinning.
'Moves Like Jagger' starts playing.

I laugh as he comes up whispering, "Your laugh is so cute!".

The song starts and everyone had a beer bottle in their hand. Erin and Rachel got up from their table and started dancing. Everyone looked awkwardly at them, but they didn't care.

"Take me by the tongue and I'll know you..." Adam sings. I kept thinking how beautiful his voice is.

He suddenly pats my shoulder, reminding me it's almost my turn.

"You wanna know, how to make me smile. Take control, own me just for the night. And if I share my secret, you're gonna have to keep it..." I sing a we improvise some dance moves.

"And it goes like this. Take me by the tongue and I'll know you..." Me and Adam sing the end.
By this time, everyone was dancing.

The song was over. I was so happy, it felt amazing. My friends came up and told us how much they loved it. Erin ran up to Adam and hugged him. While I was smiling towards Adam, Rachel ran up to hug me too.

"That was so beautiful!" She says.
"You guys should collaborate again!" Erin adds.

After everyone calmed down, I helped Adam bring out the food. Surprisingly, everyone loved it.

We sang a few more songs. I finished with 'Beautiful' that lead everyone to tears and excitement.
