When I Fall Never Let Me Go

Chapter One: I... don't want

Scarlet's POV

["Scarlet where are you?"] My mom said from the phone.

"Mom, I'm here at the mall buying some stuffs." I said to her. 

["Make it fast we're going after you bought anything you want."] She said and I sighed irritably

"Okay, okay. I'll be there after this." I said with my bored tone.

I don't like it when someone's ordering me around. especially when I am free and happy.

Mom's always in a hurry. We're going to this country named Philippines. I don't want to go there. for freak's sake, I like to be here because people in here don't even care about your appearance and presence. Our flight schedule is tonight.

By the way, I am Scarlet Rayne Sandoval and I'm 17 years old and turning 18 on September 1. I'll be in Grade 12 on the next school year. My mom used to call me princess when I'm so little. But I bet she won't call me that again.

I'm not the one who is called the cold heart girl. I just don't speak a lot because they might misunderstand me and judge my soft side, so it's better this way. I don't want to have a bodyguard, or someone keeping their eyes on me. And also people in our school are scared of me because my face will always be blank and soulless. 

After I paid for the things I have picked, I got out and waited for a ride. I immediately got inside the taxi that stopped in front of me. I'm going home now because my mom will get mad and we're going to fight again. Well, fighting isn't new for me.

[Phone Ringing: A Girl Like You]

I'm just looking at my phone with a blank face. My mom is calling. I don't want to talk to her. She's bothering me. I don't know why I'm so mad at her. My mom is not sweet at all. She always there to compare me to my sister. I hate that someone is judging me, specially my mother. She's an ugly witch.

I got off when the taxi reached our house. I'm standing in front of our house now and I don't know if I'm ready to go. New place, new house, and new atmosphere.

Should I also change myself to be a new me?

I got inside and slid my jacket off. picked the things I bought and got upstairs. While shuffling the keys someone pushed me. I glared at her.

"Now what, Cloud?" I irritatingly said to my sister. Carmine Cloud Sandoval.

"Oh, I'm sorry~ and congratulations my b*tch sister! You will disappear in my life! I will own everything!" she said full with her obnoxious voice.

"That's it?" I said and opened my door with a key.  "Just remember, Cloud. So what if you're perfect like you said? Only a stupid person can say that to herself, stupid b*tch." 

Before I can close the door she shouted at me.

"Rayne! What's mine is mine and what's yours is mine!"

I just smiled at her and closed the door. she's so full of herself. I laid down and looked up on the ceiling. Maybe I can start a new and good memory there. With the new faces and streets, and...

There will be no mushrooms like Cloud in my life.
