Strong rough hands flip me over onto my back. A hand is placed over my mouth before I can let out a piercing scream. My eyes adjust to the darkness, but are flooded with tears that are blinding me. One hand snakes down my body and my heart begins to race...
I wake with a jump. A cold sweat making the hair around my face stick to me. I look around, not remembering where I am. The tired faces of strangers sit in reclined seats next to me. I use the back of my hand to wipe the remaining sweat off of my forehead. I sit back in my seat, wrapping my blanket up to my neck and plugging my headphones into my phone. I crank the volume and jam out, not so silently, to Blink-182 for the rest of my flight.
I make my way to pick up my luggage. I push my way through the crowd of people to get a better view. Right when I reach the front of the pack, I see some guy grab my bag and start walking away. "Hey!" I yell, and when he doesn't turn around I run. I catch up to him quickly and instead of thinking out the proper, classy way to handle this, I do the first thing that comes to mind. I jump on his back, surprising him and making him fall to the ground.
"What the hell?" His deep Australian voice says.
"Sorry." I mumble as I stand back up.
"What did you do that for?" He asks. But I don't hear him. I get lost in those hazel eyes that remind me of spring after it rains. He brushes the curly light brown locks from his face. A small smile forms on my lips. The curls in his eyes amuses me, shouldn't the bandana he's wearing hold them back? I snap out of the trance I'm in when he clears his throat. "I don't have all day. So I'll wait for an apology and be on my way."
"You have my bag." I point to the black suitcase laying on the ground.
"No, I don't." He says a scowl. "This is mine."
"Yours must look the same as mine, I understand that it can get confusing. So I'll wait for an apology and be on my way." I flash him an innocent smile, even though I'm smirking on the inside for using his own words against him. He reaches for the back and unzips it. He puts his hand inside the bag and searches for who knows what.
"See Love this is my-" He pulls out my favorite black lace underwear. His eyes widen in shock when he sees what he's holding. A smirk grows on his face when he turns to look at me, and I feel my cheeks turn red. He drops my luggage and just stares at me not saying a word. I look to the ground in embarrassment, but immediately look back up when I hear shouts and laughter coming my way.
"Ash, we've been looking everywhere for you." A brown haired, tattooed boy says. Two others follow close behind him and they all look to me and smile.
"Hi." A rather cute looking blonde with the bluest eyes I've ever seen, says.
Before I can say anything back, the four if them are running in the opposite direction. I let out a sigh as I pick up my luggage. I zip it up and start walking towards the exit. It dawns on me as I leave the airport, he never gave me my underwear.
