"I-i'm sorry" Lapis walked out of the barn and sat in a tree to think everything over
"Why would she what to return, Homeworld is horrible!" Peridot walked to a corner of the barn sat down and hugged her knees.
"I know they are safe but why didn't they tell us what they found out" Steven said annoyed
"Maybe it went bad-" Pearl tried to say
"No I know it went well its Lapis and Peridot of course it went well they are good at talking right" Steven interrupted saying
Steven was worried Lapis and Peridot didn't return that night
"We could go check the barn-" Pearl tried to say before being butted in again
"Your right they could of gone there" Steven ran to the warp pad and teleported to the barn
"Hello anyone at the barn"
It was extremely quiet Steven walked closer and he heard faint crying he looked in and saw Peridot crying
"PERIDOT are you okay what happened"
He hugged her Peridot just stayed still she carried on crying and they stayed that way for a few minutes untill they heard a noise
"Steven are you in here"
"Yeah pearl in the corner" she walked over and noticed peridot
"What happened?"
"Lapis wants to to leave and help the d-d-d-diamonds " peridot continued to cry
"WHAT" they both shouted
"I bet this is that Sapphire's fault she's manipulative would make sense for to be perfect for her diamond" pearl was mad

"Lapis flew us straight back to the barn and the conversation well that Sapphire doesn't want friendship she see's it as a pathetic thing she wants to head back but can't"
While they were talking they didn't hear or see Lapis appear in the doorway she heard them talking
"If I help her then we both can leave this planet"

"Why do you want to leave I thought we were beach summer fun buddies"
"We are but... It's home Steven and I just miss it it's like you and beach city if you had to leave forever you'd miss it right that's like me with homeworld I'm I'm sorry but I need this and she's my only chance"
"She's manipulative that's her job lapis it's obvious what she's doing she's using you as a leverage to get higher up even if she's already the highest she can get she's frightening for a reason and not trust worthy they had to deatroy the WHOLE planet after her it was so dangerous to have gems from there but White did it anyway please believe us for your saftey Lapis please" Pearl tried to help explain but lapis wouldn't have any of it she turned grabbed something which the gems couldn't exactly see and got ready to fly off
"Lapis p-please I'm I'm begging you don't leave me" Peridot begged the blue gem
"I'm sorry but I don't want to be homesick anymore" and she left flying towards the Homeworld gems house.
There was a smash and peridot and pearl notice Steven had thrown something against the wall of the barn in annoyance.
"S-steven?" Pearl asked worried
