You had travelled back to Seoul after completing your studies abroad. It had been a while since you had settled down and had started on your journey as a photographer which you had chosen as your career.
You had been working on the portfolio and had finally found a model you had been searching for. You were setting up your studio when you heard the door creak open.
You turned to find Shownu entering with curiosity and interest evident in his eyes. You smiled at him when he walked towards you and passed you a bouquet of flowers, congratulating you on successfully opening a photo studio.
"Sorry for not coming on the actual day. Work held me back."
"Thanks, Shownu and it's not a problem. Besides, I should be thanking you for helping me out," you took the gift from him and gestured him to take a look, "Make yourself comfortable."
Of course, Shownu didn't feel comfortable but pretended to be so by occasionally smiling at you whenever you turned to look at him. You were setting the things yourself since you still haven't hire anyone yet.
"Shownu?" you called and he immediately looked at you. "Can you help me with the lighting?"
His eyes sparkled and he nodded with a huge smile, the smile which was so sweet that even bees would rush to kiss. He must had been waiting for you to ask for help. He got up and eagerly listened to your instructions. You couldn't help but giggle as you watched him struggle a bit before actually getting hold of it.
The two of you had met after you came back to Seoul. He was a friend of your friend and the other had often mentioned about Shownu. When both of you actually met up, it was really awkward if not for the help of your friend who helped to liven up the mood.
When you talked to him, he couldn't even look at you which made everything even more awkward. You tried your best to make sure he was not bored or anything when spending time with you and hoped that he would ease up soon but it looked like that would take a bit more time than you had expected.
You guessed that it was just his personality and planned to give him as much time as he needed to open up to you.
Currently, the two of you were seated in a family restaurant near your studio because both of you were famished after working. Actually it was Shownu whose stomach grumbled, informing that a break was necessary. He was really embarrassed and you had to hold yourself from laughing because you didn't want to make him feel more awkward. That was when you decided to call it a day.
