"So, uhm, you know that I've never had like, well, a girlfriend or something?", Lefou tried to start, struggling with finding the right words. He suddenly felt really insecure about what he was doing.
"And, well, you know I... uhm." 'Fuck, why is this so difficult?' He didn't know what to say, so he just stood there awkwardly in front of Gaston.

"Oh, Lefou.", Gaston said in an understanding tone. "I know what you're trying to tell me."

"You do?"

"Of course. It's obvious, little fellow." Gaston chuckled. "You're trying to ask me if I could help you ask out some girls. No wonder you're asking me. Who else could you possibly want help from?"

"What? No, Gatson, you're misunderstanding this. It's not that I want help getting a girlfriend, it's something different!"

"So, you don't want a girlfriend you only want to get laid? Well you could just go to the prostitutes. Wait I'll lend you some money, but give it back until-"

"No! Gaston! Let me speak and listen! I appreciate that you want to help me but you're being really unhelpful right now!" Lefou said mad.

"Ooh, now I get it."

Lefou glanced at Gaston.

"You're a virgin, because you're scared of sex and now you want me to-"

"Gaston, stop it! All I'm trying to say is that I'm not into girls, okay? I'm gay, I like men! Hell, I find men attractive, and hot, and arousing. And I like the thought of having a dick inside of me! What do you say about that? Because that's the real me. I'm a fucking weird pervert, Gaston. And... And..."

Lefou tried to control himself. He held back tears, that formed in his eyes.

"And it's making me feel so bad about myself, and disgusted and.. And I just don't know what to do anymore."
Lefou couldn't hold back his tears anymore. It was just too much for him. On the one hand he was feeling relieved that he finally had the courage to tell somebody but he was extremely ashamed too. Additionally, he was incredibly afraid of Gaston's reaction.

Gaston had to collect his thoughts. His facial expressions didn't show any emotions.

"But Lefou, that's not disgusting at all. Please stop crying. I don't like seeing you cry, mon petit."
, Gaston said, trying to comfort his friend, who was still crying waterfalls. He felt like a real moron, knowing that he caused Lefou to cry like that. He should have just let him speak and not put him under pressure. Sometimes he hated himself for being such a selfish ass.

"You see, there are many men who realize that they just don't seem to be able to think that women are hot. And you're one of them. There are plenty of men who are gay."

"Oh really?" Lefou replied, slowly calming down again. "Name one."

"Well, uhh. Let me think.."
Come on, Gatson, think! You've got to know any homosexual guys! Just think harder!"

"I'm the only one, Gaston. I'm the only person who falls in love with the same gender."

"Now I remember! You're totally wrong, Lefou. I know two women who got engaged a few months ago. They're also homosexual!", Gaston excitedly said, happy that he remembered.

"Really? Well, I guess that's making me feel kinda better.", Lefou said.

He was really glad, that Gatson reacted like this. He never thought he'd be that understanding and caring. That's just another aspect why he was so in love with him.

He sniffed and dashed away the last few tears, which ran down his eyes.

"And now you'll be happy again, alright?" Gaston asked smiling.

"Alright.", Lefou answered, smiling back.

"Thank you, Gaston. That's why you're my best friend. Sometimes you can be a real idiot, if I'm allowed to say this. But you would never hurt me badly or talk bad about me."

"Of course not, Lefou! There is no reason someone would talk bad about you! You're the most polite, lovable, smartest man I've ever met! Nobody even deserves you, petit"

Lefou blushed a little, noticing that this conversation just got a little awkward.

Gaston also seemed to have noticed that and added a quick and slightly uncomfortable 'no homo though'.

Lefou had to giggle a little bit about the way Gaston said that. He thought that he could make up a slight blush coming to his face too, but he didn't take the time to think about it. He was just unbelievably happy to have a friend like Gaston.

'Belle's a huge idiot for dumping him, haha', Lefou thought to himself.

"So now that you're happy and got back your self-esteem how about we have lunch? I've still got some delicious big boar in my kitchen! We can eat in peace and go to the tavern later!"

"Yes, having an emotional breakdown is making really hungry, you know?" Lefou happily said.

"I figured. But you have to cook.", Gaston quickly said pointing at Lefou.

"So, as usual?"

"Well.. I think I'm gonna help you a bit this time. But only beacuse I'm bored."

"Sure.", Lefou said. "Thank you, Gaston. For everything. I really needed an understanding reaction like this. You won't believe how afraid I was that you might kick me out of your house or... That you wouldn't want to be my best friend anymore..."

"But Lefou, how could you think something like that?! You're always gonna have a place in my heart! Remeber that. Please."

"I will.", Lefou responded, turning to Gaston, hugging him tightly. Gaston hesitated but then hugged him back.

"I'm glad to here that, mon petit"

For Lefou this moment could have lasted forever, but it was interrupted by his growling stomach.

Time for lunch.
