Chapter Twenty-Three - Dramatic Competition

The two women glared at each other, straight into each other's eyes. Renia's glare was pretty cocky and serious, while Jade's glare represented loathing and deep hatred.
"It's been a while, Jade Greene."
"It's been eight years," Jade replied, "What do you want?"
"Just one person," she smirked, "Or, one person and a dead body."
"Stay back," Laxus said to the ice humanoids, "This one's a fight that came from the past."
"I know who the dead body is," Jade tied her hair into a ponytail, readying for a battle, "But, who's the other person?"
"A certain iron dragon slayer... he's very important in our plan," Renia shrugged, "I'll just drop the little girl and the naked one off, but I'll take the king and the other one."
[[To be clear, the dead body wasn't only one, they were two. One was the King, and the other was Jade.]]
"I know what you're up to. I know all of it," Jade said, "Eight years ago, you killed my family through that tornado."
"They died in the tornado, you imbecile! They were meddling in our testing plan!" Renia yelled furiously, "If they hadn't meddled from the start, none of this would have happened!"
[[Let's take a little look at Jade's backstory.]]
Jade was speechless for a moment. She wasn't shocked at all, because it was true. The Greene family had been trying to take Tornado Requiem down for years. Of course, the guild tested one of their destructive tornadoes and while doing so, they decided to kill off the Greene family.
But, there was one person that made the tornadoes stop. It was Jade's father, Jack Greene. He cast a spell upon Tornado Requiem before he died, and that spell stopped them from taking tornadoes out of Algeak. His magic was one of the most powerful, and he was even a wizard saint.
Until he, you know, died.
The day Jade learned about this, she immediately went back to her home to confirm the truth with her own eyes. When she did, her heart broke into pieces, until she saw Reginald. She challenged him and won, but, to make himself win, the said man put a spell on Jade to make her forget everything he had revealed to her about Tornado Requiem's mission.
The only memory of Tornado Requiem that she had was that the said guild had murdered her family and they were a bit powerless without their generals. But, even if her family, she does not wish to get revenge for them and instead, took on the path of cooking.
Now that her memories are back, her desire for vengeance was as hot as Natsu's flames, and those flames would easily melt the Ice Castle down.
"They didn't meddle. They took you down and you felt weak. You sent Reginald to lock my memories up to get revenge on your feeling of being weak," Jade said, "I know you were the one that got the tornadoes to come at my family's house that day. I know that you wanted to kill them so bad for this so-called 'meddling.' Well, guess what?"
She poked the middle of her palms and soon, her arms were already gemstone-ized. Jade was as strong as ever.
"What?"
