DAY FIFTEEN - STOP THE TORNADO

He couldn't reach her.

Gray was trying so hard to not use to his magic, so he wouldn't contribute to the creation of the tornado. But, even with his magic, he knew he wouldn't be able to save Erza.

The said girl was unconscious, her magic power giving itself off to the tornado. Her eyes were closed, and she looked like she was in extreme pain. If he could just get to her, and embrace her like it was no big deal... Like the tornado wasn't real. Like they weren't going to die.

Death is inevitable. We're all going to die someday. But, not today, Erza! Gray thought before plunging straight to Erza.

When he got to her, he quickly felt her pulse. Alive.

"Erza! Wake up!" he yelled, "We gotta save ourselves and destroy the tornado!"

Suddenly, he heard something that had extreme power. He looked below and saw the tornado. Ten minutes away from them, twenty away from Algeak.

"Erza, please!" he shouted again.

"G-Gray..."

"Erza!"

"Gray," Erza's eyes opened. She winced in pain, "You... have to kill me."

"W-What?"

"Stop this pain... kill me..."

"No, I won't!" he said, "As if I would! Come on, we gotta get to Algeak and we have to stop the tornado there!"

"If you don't kill me, I'll die..."

"But, if I still kill you, you'll die! In both ways, there's nothing left for me!" Gray yelled in extreme frustration, "I thought you cared for your nakama! I thought you did this for Juvia! I thought you did it for us! The two of us! Haven't you thought about me?!"

"Gray..." Erza looked sad.

"I came all the way here for you. I had to trust Jade for you. I had to uncover secrets for you. I had to fight a whole guild for you. Everything I did was for you, Erza. It's because... I love you."

Erza felt her tears falling down. She quickly returned the hug, and Gray just smiled.

"Thank you, Gray. A-Are you really serious about this?"

"Since when did I lie about us, Erza?"

After a whole minute, they stopped hugging and looked at the tornado. Just minutes away from them.

"Alright, we have to do something about that," Erza said.

"We can't," Gray sighed, "It would take millions of people to do that. And, we're only two."

"But, we're strong."

"Even if we are, we can't stop something like that."

"And so, a good friend and cook of ours had improvised a plan!" they heard a voice. They looked up and saw a familiar pink-haired dragon slayer hanging on a fire rope.
