One suspicious Day

Early in the morning of a particular day, The Adams were on their way to a wedding ceremony that Mrs. Adams had been invited to by her boss, The family bustled here and there with the exception of Mr. Adams who claimed he wasn't invited personally and wouldn't go, so he escaped to his office

Mrs. Adams in her red and white traditional attire with lacy wedge shoes to match, she was sitted at her dresser, fixing up Adanna who was currently sitted in front of the vanity mirror, trying in vain to tie make her up

"ahhh ahhh" Adanna cried as Mrs. Adams tried to comb her hair, she put her hand forward to stop the force on her hair, Mrs. Adams slapped her hands off, dragged her head closer

"Adanna behave yourself, I am almost late for this wedding stop fiddling about" Mrs. Adams cautioned applying foundation to her face, she was so concentrated that Adanna had no other choice but to sit straight like a statue

Mrs. Adams finally was able to dress Adanna up beautifully all through her clothes and all it was duly monitored, looking at the beautiful woman in the mirror, her smile broadened she decided to tease her a little, it wouldn't be too bad if she acted as a matchmaker besides Jezreel was slow in making up with her after the incident that happened with her nieces, She had caught him in more than two occasions where he had lost his focus and had been solely lost in watching her cook, The second time she had been chanced to catch him, he had been standing in front of her room his hands about to knock the door she had watched him from afar he lingered in front of her door for a long time before he ran away when he heard movements as if Adanna was coming out, She had always thought her son was someone who had a lot of courage in all things but its seems when it comes to treating a woman he knew next to nothing like his father .

She hissed scrunching up her face, she set the powder brush in her hands back in its casing while Adanna was busy admiring her image, smiling to herself in the mirror like a typical village girl that she was, using a side eye to observe the girl a thought quickly came up in her head
"Adanna, Quickly go and get those new blankets that I bought, in fact where are they? Am sure I gave it to you the last time"

"Yes ma, I took it to my room and I already took one of it "

"Why"

"I was feeling cold last night and I washed my blanket so I couldn't get any other one" Adanna answered quietly looking down at her feet

"What do you mean by you couldn't get any other one, there are lots of blankets in this house"

"Yes but they are not as fluffy as the new ones you just bought" she answered giving a puppy look face

"Fine, go get the remaining one and don't you dare come to me to ask for blankets again alright?

"Alright"

Adanna stood up in a hurry almost knocking her foot against the chair she had been sitting on in her haste to get her message done quickly and to come back to continue admiring her face in the mirror

"Be careful, this clumsy attitude of yours is becoming an issue"

She giggled seeming not affected by Mrs. Adams announcement since she definitely wasn't hearing it for the first time as she sped out of the room not slowing down her pace for once

Mrs. Adams groaned exasperatedly "she won't be the death of me, She is too childish, that Jezreel just spoil her a lot just because am not around most of the time " she signed in defeat it can't be helped it will be better to just quickly tie her up with Jezreel since she doesn't think any other man will like her childish attitude, She walked to the bed, sitting on it, she picked up her phone and called Jezreel, he picked on the first dial
