Chapter 4-The cop

                  I started to go back to home, since my mom is alone. I was crossing the road to reach my car, which is on the other side of the road and then 'BHOOM' I was in a man's hold. I'm to lost in my own thoughts to register what is happening.
         
            I'm crossing the road thinking of the stranger and what he said then suddenly a strong arm yanked me back into their hold, my breathing is heavy. Then I realized I was walking into a car and he held me back from hitting it.

             "Are you okay miss?" he asked me with concern in his voice and wide eyed.

            I slowly opened my eyes to see the man's face very close to my face and checking me for any injuries.

                His face is glowing  under the night lights, his eyes are blue which held so much intensity. His face was so perfect as if god has kept all his concentration while making him. His jawline is sharp.
  
         "Excuse me miss, can you hear me? Are you okay?" he asked again stabilizing me on my own feet and slightly shaking my shoulder to get response from me and in concern.

          " Ye...ye...yes, I...I'm okay" I shuttered while making myself stable and releasing from his hold with my hand on my chest. God I almost you.

           He chuckled and said "you look so confused, and it's good you are alright, next time look where you are going Ms......" he trailed since he don't know my name.

       " Oli...Olivia preskings it is" I said with a little smile on my lips.

            "Well Ms.Preskings, I'm Tyler Rhodes and next time I'll charge you if you wander on roads with full of traffic" he said sarcastically    with a smile dancing on his lips with a wink. It is then I observed that he is his uniform and realised he is a cop.
     
                    "Thank yo so much Mr.Rhodes  and I'm sorry I was just thinking about something and didn't notice where I was going " I said looking at the ground awkwardly.

          "Well be careful then, It won't be good if anything happened to such pretty face" he said and blush creep to my cheeks so I kept my head low to escape from further more embarrassment. Is he flirting with me? Well I too don't know.
    
            "Okay where are you heading to?" He asked. I looked at him not knowing why he is asking. Well cop or not I shouldn't say my business to strangers right.

             He might have observed my hesitancy  and immediately added "just to drop you if we are going in same direction".

             "Oh It's okay, my car is just there, I can go thank you" I said politely showing my car  to him.

              "I will walk you up to your car" he said and started walking before I even refuse his offer. I followed him to my car.

             
             "Well it's nice to meet you Ms.Presking, be careful while you drive home" he said and turned to go back.

              "Mr.Rhodes, th....thank you for saving me" I said smiling.

             "Tyler it is and it's my pleasure Ms.Presking" he said and went back.
      
               I went back to my home smiling and I know it is because of Tyler, then suddenly my smile faded remembering that stranger's words. He looked to familiar like he is behind all the stuff that present in my brain and if I remove them he will disclose his identity.

                  Tears threatened to come out of my eyes as the thought  of my father's death came into my mind.

                 I reached my home and saw lights are on. I went in and my mom is sleeping on couch with vampire diaries running on T.V, she might have fell asleep while watching it. A small smile dancing on my lips remembering the days where me and my mom used to watch T.V series and give points to the cast on who is hottest. She is my best friend, she used to act like she is in teen. But it all changed with my father's death. I'm really feeling bad for not staying by her side in situations like this. But I too have my own demons to fight with.

                              I thought to wake her up to say to go to her room and sleep, but then again she had slept very less in past days and I don't feel good to wake her up.

                       I switched off the T.V,covered her with blankets and went to my room. I changed my clothe to PJs and slept on my bed.

                     Today is a heck  of a  day,  there is  so much to take in.The stranger saying my father was killed, almost getting onto an accident, them Tyler, I wish I would meet these two people again.

                      I don't know whether to believe the stranger or not, then agian he knows my name and about father's death. I have to know if my father was killed or not. If he was killed who might be it and why did they killed. I want to seek revenge, who ever it may be I won't spare them and then again Tyler,he is such a charming person.

               With the thought of these two I drifted into my sleep........

How are you all??..ok...I'm really sorry don't throw tantrums at me. I'm really busy with my exams that's the reason why I'm invisible these past months...now i'm back ,I'm working on it. I'm trying to gove longer chapters as the story goes on.
