Scars & Guilt

Ginny's POV

It had been a few weeks since Harry left and I had been a bit guilty for ignoring him, I heard his conversation with Ron, he said he loved me but I didn't want anything to do with him. And that was true and not true, I still had a place for him in my heart but it was buried deep inside. I walked downstairs only to hear this, "I miss Harry being here, he was always sort of the life of the party." Hermione said with a sigh, "Yeah, he was kinda funny." Ron agreed. I knew why he left! It was tearing him up that had to stay here with me around and everyone asking him so many questions when he really wanted to be alone.

Hermione's POV

"Harry has had a lot on his mind, I think he just needs some space," I say to Ron. "Well, he must have needed a ton of space because he's left us for weeks!" Ron exclaimed, "Oh Ronald," I sighed.

Harry's POV

I missed Ron and Hermione and Ginny even more, but I knew that I couldn't go back, I went out with another girl the other day but all I could think about was Ginny. I returned home to Grimmauld Place and dropped on my bed. I decided to return to the Burrow only for a day.

Ron's POV

I was taken by shock when Harry popped in, "Harry!" Hermione exclaimed as she gave him a big hug and I stood up and gave him a good squeeze. "Good to see you mate!" I said, "Good to see you too Ron!" Harry said happily. I noticed he had a few scars on his face. "Hey, Harry? Why have you got scars on your face?" I asked questionably, "Oh I-Uh um..." He stuttered uncontrollably, "Harry! Tell us why." Hermione said worried "Can we go outside?" He asked.

Ginny's POV

I heard that Harry came back and that he wanted to speak outside. I opened my window slightly so I could hear their conversation."Ok now we're outside why have you got scars on your face, Harry?" Hermione asked, "Er- Well due to my current situation......" He trailed off, "HARRY!! You're scaring me," Hermione said, "ivebeenindepressionandistillhavenightterrorsandtheycorrespondtomyfeelingsandwhileisleepscarsappearonmyface." Harry said really fast. I gasped and my mouth was gaping open. I couldn't believe my ears! Harry Potter was going through depression and no one was there to help him.

Hermione's POV

I started to sob a little, I couldn't believe that Harry had depression. "Harry! You can't do that to yourself," I said, "Harry, stop it! You're not going anywhere until you become happy again." Ron said in a demanding state. "Guys, you know I can't stay here," Harry said pleadingly "HARRY JAMES POTTER! I WILL NOT LET YOU DO THIS TO YOURSELF OK?!" I yelled at him, "YOU WILL STAY HERE WHETHER GINNY LOVES YOU OR NOT!!! THERE ARE PLENTY OF FISH IN THE SEA AND YOU DON'T NEED TO CRY OVER ONE THAT LEFT YOU." I yelled again. "Hermione, That's not the only reason," He said softly, "It's the war, all those people that died for me, it sort of killed me inside and I'm still getting used to it and I'm still trying to move on." He said, "Harry, those people didn't die in vain." I said. He walked upstairs.

Harry's POV

I walked upstairs only to bump into Ginny. I weakly smiled at her, "Hi Ginny!" I said, happy to see her. She gave me a big hug and said, "I'm sorry you're going through that," She said, she touched the scars on my face and I winced in pain. They were still fresh. "Oh, sorry," She said, "Oh no it's ok! I'm just happy you're talking to me." I walked over to my bedroom and felt a bit better now that my friends are here to support me.

Ginny's POV

I am starting to realize that this is my fault that Harry is not happy. I thought back to the conversation he and Ron had. "Are you ok?!?!" He exclaims, "Ok!? I'm far from ok!" Harry says, in pure anger. Hermione comes up "Harry are you alright?" She says, "No I'm not and I'll tell you what's wrong! I'm in love with Ginny and she doesn't want anything to do with me!!!!" Harry said "I'm leaving this place and going to Grimmauld Place. I knew it wasn't a good idea to come here.." I was going to stop this once and for all I was going to bring his happiness back no matter what Ron says about him.
