Lucy tried to shriek but no sound came out of her mouth, she tried to grip but nothing was there to hold except blankets of air. A stabbing pain flew across her heart as she realized that she was going to die, she closed her eyes but could not stop tears brimming out of her eyes.

---------------------------------------Lucy’s POV------------------------------------------------

I was going to die. No, this must be a bad dream, but everything is so real. I tried to wake myself up from the illusion.

“Wake up girl!” I shouted to myself, “Oh God I don’t wanna die!” My head felt like bursting.

It felt like hours had passed since I was falling; I wondered how much later it was going to come finally.

I opened my eyes and the bright Sun jammed my eyes, the hollow inside my heart was increasing as reality as smashing in. Suddenly, I crashed into water.

SPLASH !!!!!

I saw blue and it took my breath out, I wish I could swim. I closed my eyes and imagined the day I first met my MURDERER.

“Umm, is that locker no. 1020?” Lucy asked curiously.

“Yes” A girl absent-mindedly replied. She was trying to open the locker but was carrying a lot of books to do that easily.

“That’s my locker”

“No”

“But the application says it is my locker” She took out a paper from her bag.

The other girl finally opened the locker and put her books in it. She had blue eyes and pink lips, her blue dress, blue watch, mermaid blue teardrop-pendant and matched sandals that screamed ‘high-maintenance’. She was clearly annoyed and looked at her watch.

“Why the hell are you disturbing me?” She shouted. Lucy then saw a crowd gathering around them, and she wanted to run away.

“Oh….umm…..sorry…but”

“Now fuck off!” She shouted gracefully.

Lucy was wondering how anyone could be such cruel and graceful at the same time. She was carrying a duffel bag full of books and a messy folder in her hands.

She walked off slowly and sadly towards the English Literature class that was the first class scheduled in the timetable given to her by the Principal.

Lucy’s chocolate-coloured eyes filled with tears that threatened to fall any moment. As she entered the class she saw only a couple of children gossiping among them. She went to the last bench of the first row and kept her bag and folder there. She took out the papers and started reading more information about the school.

Sometimes later, she noticed the class was full of gossiping children who together sounded like birds chirping. Their class teacher entered the class and the class silenced itself.

Ms. Ronald was probably in her forties, she was stern looking but her eyes were soft and loving. Her eyes were grey and her hair black, strange combination but she carried it well. She announced, “Good morning class, a new student is going to join us today. Her name is Lucy Parker and I want you all to behave friendly with her, all right?”

“Yes maam” Class sang in a chorus, while Lucy started deciding whether to stand up or not.

After sometime she looked at the new girl, “Lucy will you please stand up?”

“Yes maam” Lucy was startled by her own voice which sounded so weak and broken.

“Now come here with your documents”

Lucy went to her with the folder file in quick pace; her teacher studied it for a few minutes while the class started its gossiping once again. Lucy had shoulder length chocolate hair that matched her eye colour; she was wearing a chocolate coloured.

“You are having very good grades, I see” She smiled at Lucy. Lucy nodded shyly.

“So you should sit with Amanda, she is also a good student and I hope you will be good pals.” She pointed me to the girl named Amanda and I was shocked to see that it was the same girl she had met earlier near her locker.
