Dorothy glared at the road as she drove out of the city and into the countryside. She hit the steering wheel in a rhythmic pattern lost in her own thoughts at the possibility of marriage. Could she marry him? "He is handsome," Dorothy admitted to herself. Could they be happy together as husband and wife? Stopping the car Dorothy groaned and hit the steering wheel with her head. "Fuck it," Dorothy mumbled. Turning the car around Dorothy speeded down the road back towards Birmingham. Back towards Tommy and the handsome Mr Ford.

Parking the car outside of her home she got out and closed the door. Pushing the door open she found Arthur in the living room "Where's Tommy?" Dorothy asked. Looking up at his young sister he watched as she slowed her breathing down. "In his office," Arthur answered turning back to the warmth of the fire. "Thank you," Dorothy replied as she ran down to Tommy's office.

Running into his office Dorothy pushed open the door open. Mr Ford turned around and looked at how wild Dorothy looked with her black hair. "I'll do it. But on my own terms," Dorothy explained as she smoothed her dressed and pushed her hair behind her ears. Looking towards Mr Shelby, Mr Ford let out a breath and placed his glass of whiskey on the mantlepiece and walked over to where Tommy kept the whiskey. Filling the bottom of the glass, he walked over to Dorothy and handed her the delicate glass. "I intended to love you and give you a life you deserve." Mr Ford answered as he looked down at Dorothy. "Thank you Mr  Ford," Dorothy replied as she returned his gaze. "Please call me James," James stated as he walked back to mantlepiece and picked the glass up.

"What are your terms," Tommy asked as he looked towards his sister. "You buy James and I a house in London, for us to raise a family and live," Dorothy stated taking a sip from the glass. "And you will allow our feelings to grow for one another before the wedding," Dorothy added as she turned her gaze towards James, her future husband. "What if we do not develop feelings for one another?" James asked as he raised an eyebrow. "What are feelings? Not long ago we were busy killing each other." Dorothy replied sending a look towards her brother and James. "I accept your terms. You and Mr Ford should go and look for a house in London tomorrow." Tommy replied picking up a cigarette he placed it in between his lips and lit the end.

"I need you to go to the house and make sure that everything is alright," Tommy stated as Dorothy nodded said a quick goodbye to Mr Ford and marched out of the office. Saying a quick goodbye to her brothers Dorothy slipped out of the building and jumped into the car and drove to Polly's new home.
