I woke up engulfed in water. At least I think it's water. Everything was light. I saw a black button and pressed it. The water flushed down a little drain. I can breathe. The thing I was in, as a pod. A small pod I could barely sit up in. I looked all around me. I couldn't see outside much of the pod, everything was distorted beyond the glass. Inside of the pod there were three buttons. One said release, another said breathe and food, the last one said nothing. It was just a plain black button. That was the one I pressed early. It looked like the one that said release would probably let me out of here. No other instructions were left. I pressed the button that read release. The top of the pod opened. I stepped out.
White light flooded my vision. I looked at the ground I had stepped on. It was very white and looked newly polished. Then I got a good look at where I was, a spaceship. There were pods everywhere and the room I was in seamed to be not a room at all, but a giant ________. A voice boomed overhead, it said.
"Welcome to Kepler22b Dr.Fernandez. You might be a little lagged, but we would like you to come to the main control deck."I have no clue where the main control deck is. I looked around. The corridor looked empty. No other pods were opening up. I don't understand why no other pods aren't opening up. Is anyone else in pods. Why are we in pods? Is there something wrong with us?
A little droid came up to me. It was small, white, and had a strip of black across the top. It had a circle body, and a small circle head. It almost looked like a snowman.
"Are you Dr. Amelia Fernandez?"
"Who is asking?"
"Dr. Sepetys is asking you to come with me."
"Okay." I knew I wasn't going to find it myself. Besides, what would it do to me?
"Follow me." The thing was about the size of my foot so I didn't expect to go as fast as it did.
The little robot's body spun around and went even faster. I had to run to catch up with it. My body did like that. We went through small passages, huge corridors and even bigger dining halls. What I found weird, was that there was nobody in them.
"Where is everybody?" I asked him. Or her? Robot.
"I am not permitted to answer those questions."
"Why?"
"I do not have the information. I do not have the clearance." I looked at him. His nonexistent face.
"Then let's continue."

The hallway ended and the robot went into a little robot door and I paused. Where was I supposed to go? Then a larger door of which I thought was a wall opened up. ( How stupid )
"Come in." Said a large overhead voice. So I walked forward and into the room. It was dark and had absolutely no lights on.
"Hello?" I asked.
"Welcome to the Dusk. I am your leader Phillips. You must be Dr. Fernandez?" The lights went on and a Man about 6' feet walked in front of me.
"How-where am I?" He wasn't muscular and I could have taken him on if I wasn't so tired and weak. I was also hungry.
"You are on the Dusk. Like I said before."
"Where is the Dusk? What is the Dusk?"
"The Dusk is currently floating above Proxima B. The Dusk is an International Space Station." I shifted my stance and he seemed to notice. "Please, sit." He motioned for the chair that was now behind me. When did it get there? Again, another question that most likley wont be answered. I nodded and sat.
"What year is it?"
"Earth years?" He asked.
"No, years in Saturn." I said sarcasticly. But he didn't look very amused.
"In Earth years it would be 2220."
"Your shitting me." I said in disbelief.
"I'm afraid not Dr. Fernandez. The year is 2220. We on The Dusk have been traveling for 201 years."
"What? 201 years. First of all that is oddly specific. Second, why?"
"Why what Dr. Fernandez?" His brow creased.
"Why did we leave? How did I get here?"
"You ask many questions," He observed. "Humans left Earth because of the drastic climate changes. As for the other question, I am not the right one to tell you. What do remember?"
"I remember that my name is Dr. Olivia Fernandez and I am 22 years old. I don't have a father and my mother....my mother sold me."
"She sold you to us." He said.
"I-"
"C'mon. everybody is already on the planet, we must gather your things and prepare you to go down there." He motioned for me to follow him.

We went down this short hallway and into this breach room, he told me to strip of my clothes and it was fine because there were no windows or anything. I would have to go in and close my eyes when he said so. I blindly followed his instructions and went into the room. I stripped and then I heard the loudspeaker come on.
"Please close your eyes at this time." He announced. I shut my eyes and a loud hissing sound filled the room. I felt self conscious and covered my bare chest and crossed my legs. I felt very out in the open, but he was right. When I had entered the room I saw no windows or anything. The hissing got louder and then some sort of gas filled the room. It stung my lungs and my skin a little bit, then it really stung. The hissing got so loud and the burning got worse. I cried out in pain and tried to find the door. But I didn't want to open my eyes. Everything was already stinging, I didn't want to lose my eyesight.
"Dr. Fernandez you are okay. We are removing toxins. You will be out within seconds." I waited and I let the words sink into my skin. Then the gas stopped and I opened my eyes.
"Hello?"I asked.
"Good job Dr. Fernandez, you survived! A door will open up and I would like you to go through and put the clothes on and grab the backpack. It will have everything you need." I heard a swoosh behind me and I spun around.
