yoongi is not one for the rules of etiquette. the way he maintains his subsistence is by giving himself away to the dark side. he's the true flatterer, and his harsh, hostile nature doesn't unfold until you get too close. his frustrations build up and leave him with underlying worries. the complication with him starts when it all becomes too much. the likelihood of yoongi being a convincing psychopath is high. he's soft-spoken and treasures the times where he can offer affection and security, but when he's alone, his thoughts get quite gruesome. he does write poems, some dark, some more lighthearted. with this being said, he's also a huge sucker for aesthetics, so he does dress himself to impress. that being because he's in the open a bunch with customers at the club and also because he likes to keep his confidential reputation low.
also, yoongi suffers from insomnia. he rarely sleeps, and honestly, the only time he can sleep is when it's with someone else next to him. it's probably because every time he's alone he turns into a monster from his own nightmares, but nobody else can see that monster. that's why around others that monster doesn't exist. he tries to keep it on the low that he's a frequent drug user, an insomniac and a potential member of a korean gang. if you question his sincerity or call him out, he'll probably act either clueless or defensive. although these are the case, yoongi does cherish many and will treat you like a king or queen; that's just his personality.
sometimes, he wears dark eyeliner just because he believes it suits him. he always make sure his hair is styled and appealing to see. always wears the most stylish clothes. if you got to know him, he'd call himself a walking disaster most likely. what's the on surface isn't always the truth. yoongi is the key to understanding that.
