chapter 8

"Lesley! Lesley! Wake up!" I heard someone calling me.

"W-what happened?" I said and got up. I was back in class.

"You used up your mana and fainted during the match but thx to you we succeeded!" Gusion exclaimed

"Good job lesley!" Layla said

"Yea thx you 2" clint said

"It was thanks to all 4 of us guys, we work well together" i said

"Thats true that was cool but so tiring" layla complained

"Well at least its over, lets go for lunch" gusion said

We nodded and left class.

While walking i could feel gusion's eyes on me and well it was getting abit uncomfortable.

I looked over at him "can you stop looking at me?"

"W-what? I wasnt looking at you" he looked away.

"Yea right"

"But are you sure you are feeling alright?"

"Im feeling fine gusion" i said annoyed.

"Oh ok.." he stopped looking at me and headed to the canteen.

We found miya and alucard sitting with two others at our usual spot.

"Hey guys! Who's this?" I asked

"Lesley! Gusion! Come on sit down, this is zilong and his girlfriend freya. Oh who's that?" Miya replied

"Oh my name is layla and this is my uhh friend clint"

"Ooooooh sure you guys arent a couple?" Miya asked with a smirk

"U-uh w-well" both clint and layla nervously said.

"C'mon miya let them live" i laughed and they looked relieved.

''Alright alright, take a seat you guys"

We ate our food and talked. All 8 of us got along quite well especially when we all have the same dream of becoming heroes.

We even created a new group for just us four girls and im guessing the 4 boys did too.

Next was the lecture and it turns out we all had to go to the same place.

So freya walked beside zilong, layla with clint, gusion and alucard and miya and i.

While we were walking miya whispered "hey are you and gusion alright? What happened? He seems abit distant"

"Oh its nothing much, i guess cus its that time of the month im having mood swings again"

Miya tapped my shoulder and said "ahhh dont worry"

I nodded and we continued walking.

Once we reached the lecture hall, the instructor briefed us.

"Pls find a seat and sit down, this lecture will be very helpful for your class after this. Each of you will receive a textbook on the field, turrets, minions, farming, battle spells and lanes."

We were in rows of 4 so it was me, miya, alucard, gusion and infront of us was zilong, freya, layla and clint.

We each had a textbook infront of us.

"Now open your textbooks to page 1 and lets begin"

The entire one hour lecture was on the arena and teamwork and all other stuff. To be honest i almost fell asleep. When i looked to my right, both the boys were sleeping.
