Camila's POV
* beep beep beep *
I instantly pulled the cover over my face and groaned. You have got to be kidding me. It's not the whole school thing , I'm just not a morning person. But , I manage to pull myself out of bed. " Hija ya te levantaste" ( daughter did you wake up ) my mom asks. " yes" I say making my way to the bathroom to do my morning routine. I was going to curl my hair but , honestly today it's too hot for that. I'll just leave it in a pony tail. I got in the shower did my face scrub and all that other good stuff. I got out and got dressed. A cute crop top , skirt , and some wedges. I made it downstairs to eat breakfast . Once I was done with breakfast I gathered my things and left. I hoped into my tiny cute car and decided why not surprise yoyo. Just on time I thought he was walking out. The smile that grew on his face when he saw my car. He hopped in " Hola loca " ( hi crazy) he said. I flashed him a smile. " you ready for this ?" I asked " let's do this" he said. We pulled up to our school and walked in. We were greeted by many people. I guess you can say our friends but really Yoyo and I only stick to eachother. As we were walking down the hall to get to where we need to get I heard and oh so familiar voice. " Looking better than ever Miranda😍" I heard my ex Mathew say I walked passed him while rolling my eyes. Long story short he cheated on me with my best friend ... well now ex best friend. Her and I are still good friends just not as close. Only because we've known eachother since pre-k and know eachother secrets. Speaking of her there she was in the main office getting her schedule. " Hey Jess" I smiled. " heyyy" Jessica says giving me the biggest hug. Sometimes I miss her but , things just couldn't get back to how things were. YoYo and I had all of our classes together this year and honestly i just want to scream of excitement. Some people in this school are truly dumb. They constantly think we are dating and always spreading rumors. We simply ignore them.
Yoandri's POV
Senior year is about to be the year I can feel it. Camila and I have all our classes together. I get to spend even more time with her. The time I spend with her just isn't enough. I always need more. I know what your thinking and yes I do have the tiniest bit of feelings for her but , I wouldn't try anything and ruin our friendship. Besides there is some other girl who's interested in me so. But , I'm oh so busy to be having a girl. We shall see where things take us.
Camila's POV
The day has finally come to an end. Luckily school started on a Friday. Yoyo and I got to my car and headed to his place. " Hi mom I'm home" i greeted as I walked in. Yoyo just rolled his eyes " Camila my love " his mom gave me the biggest bear hug. She loves me and I love her. She's honestly my second mom. I took off my wedges and went upstairs to Yoandri's room. " this year is gonna be the best year yet " he says to me. I look up at him and nod. " You know I'm looking forward to prom" I say all cheerfully " if I have a date". " ofc you will you idiot" yoyo replies. We spent the rest of the afternoon watching movies and what not. Till it was time for me to go home. Only thing is now it was raining. Yoyo noticed went back up and gave me one of his hoodies. I told him i would be fine. " Camila it's cold and even if your driving you can get sick or anything " I smiled at him " okay dad" " hey I'm just looking out for my bestie. I hugged him and left.
First day of school was successful
