Andrew's POV
Running, Hat box, Letters, Shane, Steven
The letters are out
"Yo, Ilnyckyj....... Ilnyckyj! Wake up!"
My eyes pop open to Steven. "Are you okay?"
I sigh as I get up with the help of Steven. Wow I fainted that's such a good move Andrew way to go
"Do you need like water or some help??? Anything? Are you okay?"
I look at him rubbing my head that hit the dang track so hard. "No I'm fine....I'm okay" But if things can get any worse here comes Shane looking for me with the letter in his hand.
"No no oh no no..." I tried to think what I could do fast because I cannot let him think I like him. I will never do that to Sar.
I hate myself more and sorry Steven.

I got Steven by the shoulders and pushed him down to the tracks annndd.... kissed him on the mouth. Wow congrats on making the situation worst! Is he even bi?-

"Ilnyckyj! What are you doing kissing on my track? You still got 2 more laps to go!" my p.e teacher yelled at us. I got up apologizing to Steven.

"Um I'm sorry I-I have to go yeah..." running away from Steven and by a confused Shane. I go to the bathrooms and into the stall to process what in god's country is happening. Then I hear a "Andrew?" Niki Ang

"I saw you run in here wanting to know if you're okay and returning this to you.....it seems personal.." She slid the letter under the stall. Homecoming with her was fun, I enjoyed it we had a great time dancing together.

"Niki I want you to know I wrote this years ago" "Haha yeah freshmen year? Dancing with you was fun but I should confess to you....ya'know I'm lesbian right?" (i'm so sorry if Niki is not lesbian in real life :()

I did not know " Uh yes yeah I knew I know" "Haha yeah but don't spill like I'm out but not fully ya'know" "aha yeah of course"

////////////////////after school////////////////

I drove quickly home to see if my hat box is even there. After parking and rushing up stairs to my room opening my closet. I find

Nothing. Nothing is there. F$#%

I rush down stairs hearing my dad asking Kitty has was school maybe he knows where it is. Running down stairs I ask quickly "Have you seen a blue hat box mom gave it to me it hasabowanditsround"

"Wooooaaaaahhh, not even a 'hi dad' 'you're here early dad'?" I interrupt his rambling because his life is not at crisis here mine is! "It is very important to me dad! It's the only thing I have from mom and it contain important things"

"I don't know sweettooth maybe it went with the donation boxes" I gaped at him "the boxes....no no" He pointed to the corner "you got some mail" Cue the more disaster things happening in my life, another letter. I went up to my room mad.

"It's all your fault! I hate everyone!" I slam my door shut.

I pace around the room. Okay so the letters are out. Oh yes they are and you can't do nothing Andrew. "I know you love me"

I turn around and my crazy brain made a Shane spirit. Wow I am a nut. "No loved past tense"
"Oh how I wish to run my hands through your hai-" "shut up! You're not real! And I have no feelings for you!"
I sigh thinking what the heck am I gonna do? I lay on the floor thinking to runaway or move schools or not exist?
"Andrew? What are you doing?" I snap out of my thoughts, Kitty was at the door staring confused at me. "Uh nothing" Ding-Dong!
"Andrew! Shane is here" Panic flooded into me. I stand up and looked at Kitty. "You never saw me!" I climbed out my window and being clumsy me I rolled out my window and slam into the ground.

Limping I go on my bike far away from my home.

I parked my bike on the wall at the corner cafe and sit down on a counter stool and order a cherry soda.
Okay so what if you kissed Steven no big deal right? What if the letters are out? Just act like they're the crazy ones not you.
My soda got placed to me saying a thank you and putting a straw in to drink when
"Oh hey Ilnyckyj" I turned and wow Steven next to me. I literally have the worst luck today huh God?
I turned back around when Joan (she's a waitress) came up to us asking if my friend needed anything. I was about to say no when Steven said "I would actually like a chocolate shake please and thank you" Joan nodded going off to fetch him it.
"Whatcha doing here?" "Uh getting a chocolate shake"
You a damn lie
"Uh actually I was at your house but your sister said you would be here and I just wanted to make it clear that I am flattered like honestly but since Ying and me broke up and..."
I interjected "Are you trying to reject me?" I fully turned to him and gave him a serious look "Steven Lim I am not trying to date you"
He now fully turned around too "Yeah but your mouth says one thing and your mouth did another thing"
My cheeks flushed remembering the damn kiss.
"Look I don't like. I-I was trying to make it look like I like you for someone else to not think I like them."
Joan then brought his chocolate milkshake and he took a sip from it turning to me asking "Okay who?"
"What?" "You have to tell me who the mystery person is or else I'm going to be thinking that you have a tattoo of my face on your butt" I gasped at him, who the heck does this boy think he is?
I shook my head at him. "Okay so I'll tell the school you wrote me a love letter" I sigh "Okay okay, it's Shane Madej-" "Wait doesn't he date your sister?" "Well dated past tense, and he also got a letter so that's gonna get more awkward and intense-"
"Woah woah woah he got a letter too? Huh I thought I was special thinking only I got a love letter" "Well I actually five letters" "Wait five?" I nodded my head nervously "Uh huh" "Damn, Ilnyckyj you're a player" "Who else did you write letters too"
"Niki Ang, some-" "but she's lesbian" "No one knows that" "Everyone does"
I look at him like I want to die "Okay...someone from camp and someone from Models Un I uh-are we good here because I am gonna leave now" I pull out cash to pay for my drink when Steven stopped me.
"Is that your teal sparkly bike out there your ride?" "Yeah" "Lemme give you a ride"

We arrived at my house. "Thank you for the drive" "Uh yeah" I looked at him giving him a small smile. "Sorry for jumping you" He gives a dry laugh back "Could of been worse...so um what are you gonna tell Shane?" I sigh "The truth" "What is the truth? You like him or not?-" "Nunna" "What?" I unbuckled my seatbelt and jumped out his big Jeep and smiled evil at him "None of your business Steven" I go back of his Jeep and take out my bike and head home to shower away my problems. When I heard a "Wait!"
I turned to Steven stopping me. "How about you don't tell Shane anything?" "What?" I looked at him confused.
"What if we make people think we're together for a little while?"
"Why would you want that?" "Well news spread and Ying heard you kissed me so she went nuts so her thinking we're a thing she might want to get back with me"
"Oh so you're using me to just get back with her okay uhuh" I started walking away when he walked in front of me.
"Well actually see you used me first when you jumped me for Shane didn't think you like him" I narrowed my eyes at him and pursed my lips. You little sh-
"Look just think about it okay?"
I walk to the door of my home and replied "Yup don't your breathe though" and entered my sweet home.

/////later that night////////

I was staring at my phone looking at the notifications from the miss calls from Shane.
"Just call me back" No stop! "I want to share a lot with you-" No shut up! "Music, stories, tattoos-"
Oh my god shut up. Appeared aside of me a Steven spirit. Cool huh?
Oh my god I thought I'm really gonna do this huh

/////next day/////

I was walking through the players practicing. surprised no one hit me as I walked up to Steven. He saw me and took off his mask guard. I smiled at him.
"Let's do this Lim"
