Andrew's POV

It is the middle of October.

It was getting easier fake dating Steven, I was getting used to the stares and his friends. I saw Shane pass by, he gave me a look that was mixed with disappointment and wanted to talk. I wanted to disappear sometimes.

I was home getting ready to go to one of Steven's games when I heard a knock on the door. I opened it up to see my luck Shane. Great.

"Can we talk?" "Sure" Shane sat down on one of the lawn chairs while I leaned on the wall just wanting him to go away. "I can't believe you are dating Lim." "Why is it bad that someone can like me?" I asked him sternly. "No, but you're a sweet guy and he's a dick!" "Wow I sound boring. I'm not that innocent." "Okay" Shane said in a stoned voice that actually pierced me. I got off the wall, "Well OKAY if that's all you wanted-" "No look wait....do you mean what you wrote in the letter?" I shook my head shrugging my shoulders. "I do not know, I-" "I am trying to understand!" I started to feel my eyes water and my body shake. "I'm sorry", whispering to Shane while I head back in the house before I explode. "That's it?!" Shane asked still confused. "So I lose Sara and you're dating Lim, so now I lost both of you and can't even be friends like we used to?" "We cannot go back friends before all of this.." I start going inside. "I CAN'T LOSE YOU LIKE THIS ANDREW" Shane grabbed my bicep but the tears spilled as I say "don't finish that sentence" I teared away from him and shut the door behind me.

///////////at the game///////

"GO GO GO LIONS FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT" The crowd was cheering as we were in the lead in the game. Ryan is next to me with his hair chalk-dyed with our school colors shouting too. While I was trying to cheer as well but only abling to raise my fists. Steven was goalie and through out the whole game I was staring at him and he was glancing at me when he can. That made my insides burn. We ended up winning so of course everyone was ecstatic, yelling, whooping, and happy. The soccer team was jumping on each other and high fiving each other. I tried spotting Steven in the team huddle when I heard people gasp so I turned my head to see what's up when I come face to face with Steven. "Hey" Steven didn't let me get to answer back when he kissed me. In front of a lot of people. What the Fuuuuu

"Thanks for coming babe" He winked at me before he went back down with his team. Cheeky

Steven came over to watch the movie marathon we both agreed to do on in the contract. Kitty joined us since she took a liking to Steven. We were watching 16 candles when Steven asked, "Why do you even like this movie?" Kitty scoffed at him "Um hello Jake Ryan???" "I am way better looking than that guy" "Oh you wish sister!" "Oh yeah?" Then Steven proceed to pillow fight with Kitty. I smiled fondly at their silliness but I knew I should of not let him get too close. It's gonna hurt like a B.

"I am so glad to family meet you Andrew!" Steven's mom told me while passing a plate of food. Steven invited me over to his house because his mom really wanted to meet me. "So you hav two sisters?" "Yes I have a older sister who's in college now and a younger sister owen's age, I am the only boy." "Aw your mom must love the three pair of you! and me I am stuck with these two heathens." I was going to comment on my mom when Steven beat me to it.

"Mom I told you Andrew's mom passed away when he was little." Steven's mom gave a small gasp and her face turn to remorse. "I am so sorry Andrew..." I replied back for it cannot be awkward "Actually yeah she was glad she got a least one boy" I smiled at her indicating it was alright to bring it up and she smiled back. Steven and I offered to clean up the table after dinner.

"Owen is pretty shy huh?" I asked Steven while he loaded the dishwasher. "Yeah aha" "Kitty can help with that, break his shell a little bit" "Oh yeah?" "Yup, they would become good friends" Steven chuckled but he seemed like he needed to say something. I was bringing my cup to the sink when "I'm sorry about my mom said to you.." "Oh no it's okay honestly it's nice talking about her like it's not a tragedy" I start washing the cup when I ask him "Is it weird not having your dad around?" "Not as weird as before...sometimes I walk around the house noticing there are no pictures of him anymore....and I really miss him." He came to where I was leaning on the counter. "But then I remember what he is doing like life with his new family like how we used to do and it just gets me mad that I am glad he's gone." I shake my head at him. "You don't mean that. You can be mad at someone and still miss them" There was a moment of silence when he asked me "I bet you really miss your mom huh?" I take a breathe in and out nodding my head. "Yeah everyday......but you know it's been so long now it's like.....look i'll be cooking or doing my homework or something and I'm thinking about my family and I forget there was a time we were a whole family but the feeling only happens in seconds but I feel guilty about it....I never told anyone that before." I turned my head to him. "I get it, makes sense to me, I don't know actually about my dad, at least he's still .. you know." "Dead" I finish his sentence. "Sorry." I smile softly. " It's okay, it's nice having someone to talk to, you're a great listener." He laughed softly. "Thanks, you are too" "Thanks" We feel in a comfortable silence.

It's easy being with Steven sometimes I like to think it was not fake.

Yo what up my guys. Sorry for the very late update got busy with school and life and such. I won't say when I will update but I know I will update at least once or twice a month. I really hope you guys enjoyed this chapter (even though it's short) I looooooovvvveee this scene in the movie where the two of them just talk and connect like oh my goodness yes to communication sister!!!!!! also I do not if you have noticed but sometimes I put songs on top of a chapter because they are my favorites but also it goes with the theme of the chapter sorta anyways l8rssss
