She had woken up feeling a vague scent of city dust, muddy shoes, but most importantly, a tad of perfume she recognized wasn't her own. Drowsy, she wondered why she woke up so tired. Damn, the lights were hitting her right in the face. She covers her face with the shadow of the back of her hand, the light no longer making it unclear what was on top of her. As she recognized her friend's face, she examined his expression. Ryuji looked slightly nervous, probably ready to explain himself. She knew it was coming. But! She also noticed there was a verticaly streak of his face that was a tad less oilier that connected his jaw with his eye. Before he could say anyrhing, she drowsily swiped her thumb on his cheekbone, her palm calmly resting on his cheek. "Did you cry last night, Ryu...?" Half asleep, she frowned.
"A-Aah,- No, I.. I'm not here with you right no- I was just- You fell asleep- And I was lo- I wasn't lonely! But I can also make you smi- FUCK!" The blond, at this point, had deminstrated he had an exceptional skill to communicate with others. His burst made her rub her eyes. "I'm sleepy... Close the window next time." She'd say, going to get a damp towel to clean his face. "Let me take care of this, you clutz." She cleaned his undereye area, then his forehead and nose very gently to not hurt him. "You fell asleep without cleaning the oils in your face. Gross."
Ryuji had already been a blushing mess since she woke up, but touching him so fondly, so sweetly, even after what he had done last night, definitively warmed his heart. "{Name}... You're not mad at me?" He asked cautiousily.
She shook her head, next moving to clean the sides of his neck. "Not really. Sometimes, we slip up! You just had a bad sense of timing, that's it. You caught me on a bad day as well, I was especialy body-concious. I should... Probably work on it, to be honest." She got up to set the icky-ish towel on her sink to clean later. When she had come back, the young man was looking fidgety. "W-well... You... What I said... I didn't really mean it... I mean, Ann isn't ugly! That's not what I meant either! Agh!" He gripped his hair, shuffling it around a bit before grabbing her hand. "Fuck it, you're pretty! You're beautiful! Don't think about yourself like that..." He loosened the grip on her, exhaling.
It actualy felt good! It was extrenely difficult, but he enjoyed the feeling of relief after. She now knew a bit if what he felt.
And because of that, she blushed a bit. "Oh... So you and Ann-chan... You don-"
"Not at all!! I don't like her! I mean, not that way! She ain't hot! I mean, she is! Cra-crap..."
She giggled, once again stroking his cheek. "Ryu, cut it. You're welcome in ny house whenever you want, I trust you. And if you need a teddy bear to comfort you in your sleep, I'm happy to provide as well. Just don't be so sad or nervous, alright? Our group is all about helping each ther. Remember that."
Ryuji gulped, but in the end, he was smiling and nodding. When he noticed she was drifting back to sleep already, he held her hand a bit more, pulling her head towards his chest, soothing her back with a few pats. "Sleepyhead."
