It's like when you soak your feet in the pool. You're only half way in the water and it seems so divine to jump in and let the water engulf you. But the thought of it, that's all, that's what appeals to you. the thought of it. Because when youdo slide yourself in, water going up above your waist and over your head. The panic kicks in. Your feet start to push, your lungs can't breathe, your eyes can't see. It's deep and it's dark and you're alone. Up until the only reflex known to you takes upon itself to pull you out head first, mouth open, lungs pleading for air.
And you'd think "was it worth it?"
You're cold and you're shivering and you're alone.
