Chapter 7 - Dean & John

I walked into class pissed off. I sat down and heard Cassie ask me, "Are you okay, Dean". No I wasn't but obviously I wasn't going to say that. "Yea. I'm fine." I answered, annoyed. She opened her mouth to say something but didn't.

The reason i'm pissed is because my dad showed up. He's been gone for two months, away on a hunting trip. I want to go hunting but he wants us to move around and stay at crappy hotels. I'm glad we moved in with Bobby and that we have him in our lives, John isn't that good of a father.

Everything went downhill after my mom died four years ago. She was a hunter too but they only did small hunts. She didn't like us moving around a lot so we tried staying until the school year was over and they only hunted in nearby towns. We had to visit Bobby's hometown because my parents had to help him with a case. It turned out to be nothing but my mom liked it here so we stayed. She stopped hunting a year later.

It was always my job to protect mom and Sammy whenever John was away, which was almost always. But four years ago, he got worse, he was never home. He was always a drunk but after mom, he got violent. He couldn't handle it and eventually, Bobby got guardianship of us.
