Prologue~
“No! “ I yelled at my so called best friend. She was beating me up again. I bought the same hat as her by accident and she kept yelling at me and punching me. She knew she was stronger than me and she used that to her advantage.
“What is it you want me to do, you little slut? Punch you harder? Okay.” She swung her fist, hitting me square in the jaw. I fell in a crumpled heap on the ground. “Bells stop! Please, I’m begging! I’ll even go return the hat, I promise!” She pulled me up by my collar and looked at me in the eye. “You are going to return the hat and you are going to take this beating. You deserve it.” She sneered as she kneed me in the gut.
She pushed me back to the ground and started kicking me in the head. Everything started to become fuzzy and all I remember thinking before I blacked out was “I am going to die.”
