Chapter 1: Boys

Valerie's POV:

I woke up to the smell of disinfectant. "Heaven sure dose smell funny" I thought. I opened my eyes only to see white everything. White walls, white floors, white sheets, and extremely bright white lights. It took me a minute to adjust but once I did, it finally clicked as to where I was. A hospital. I buzzed for a nurse and she came in right away. "Hi, I'm Ariella and I'm going to be your nurse. What do you need darling?" She beamed at me. "W-why am I here?" She frowned at me.

"You don't know?" she asked quizzically. "No. I don't remember." I stated. "Alright then. Well someone fou-" She got cut off as someone came bursting through the door.

I looked up to find a curly haired boy beaming down at me. "HARRY!" I exclaimed. And yes. This is the Harry you all are thinking of. Harry Styles of One Direction. How do I know him, you may ask? Well The Harry Styles, is in fact, my cousin, even though he was more like my brother. He was the only one who has ever cared for me. The only one who has ever loved me. Well besides my aunt, but I haven't seen her in years.

"VALERIE! OH MY GOSH I WAS SO WORRIED! ARE YOU OKA-"he was cut off by my ticked off looking nurse. "Sir, I'm going to have to ask you to leave if you do not stop yelling." Ariella said a-matter-a-factly. Harry just shot her a menacing look before he turned back to me. "As I was saying, before I was rudely cutoff, are you okay Val? I was so so so worried. I came all the way from America when I heard you were in the hospital." He looked down at me, worry evident in his eyes. "Aw Haz, I promise I'm okay. I only have a bit of a headache and I honestly don't remember much." I smiled up at him.

"Gosh, I'm so sorry I wasn't here to protect you love. You really sacred us. You've been out for quite a long time." I sighed. I feel bad for scaring him. I wonder how long I've been out. Wait. He said us. Does that mea- "VALI-BEAR!" I looked behind Harry to find the four other boys that I've been longing to see. "BOYS! IVE MISSED YOU SO MUCH!" I exclaimed. Louis ran up to me and pulled me into a bone crushing hug. "L-lou..can't..breathe." he let go immediately. "I'm so sorry I wasn't here to protect you Vali-bear. You know I love you right?"

I looked up into his breathtakingly blue eyes. He looked like he was about to cry. I reached up and shakily wiped the tears from his eyes. "Shhh louboo. I love you too darling." He smiled down at me. "MY TURN!" I looked at the 3 other boys fighting to get to me first. "Boys! Stop." They all looked at me with puppy dog eyes. "Okay Niall you can come first, then Liam, then Zayn." Zayn glared at me. "Sorry Zaynie Pie." Niall came running up to me and crawled into the small hospital bed with me. " Do you know how horrible hospital food is Val?" he said while pouting. "Well why didn't you go out and get some Nandos?" I questioned him.

"Louis and Harry wouldn't let me! They never ever left this room unless we dragged them out. And even then it was hard to." I glared at Louis and Harry while I wrapped my arms around Niall. "How dare you not letmy poor little leprechaun go out and get some food? You know Niall has his needs." I heard everyone chuckle around me. Niall got off the bed and crossed his arms and pouted at me. "Liam's turn!" he yelled as he came running and crushed me in a hug. " Its been such a long time since I last herd your voice. How are you feeling?"

"I've got a bit of a headache. Could you go get the nurse LiLi? " I gave him my best pouty face. "Of course Vali-bear." He let me out of his embrace and went to go fetch the nurse. "Zayniee come here!" he ran right over to me and hugged me, while stroking my hair. I was so overwhelmed with happiness to have all my boys back that I didn't realize that I had started to cry. "What's wrong love?" Zayn asked worriedly."N-nothing. I'm just so happy to have all of you safely back where you belong. Which is right here with me."

"Oh. Well...um...Val you do know we have to back to America after you get better, right?" That totally bursted the bubble of happiness that I was in. "No, I didn't know that." I said glumly. I started to cry harder. Zayn climbed on the bed and pulled me close to his chest. "Shhh Val. It's okay. I promise it's only going to be for a little while this time. Only a month." That make me stop crying as much. One month wasn't so bad. "I know you're going to miss this sexy body but I'll send you pictures as often as you'd like." He said cheekily. I looked in time to see Harry reach across from his chair and smack Zayn upside the head. "Oye, mate what was that for?" he groaned as he rubbed his head. "That, Malik, was for flirting with my sister."

"She's not your sister Styles, so cool it." He growled. "Whoa guys. Calm down now." I said as Liam walked back in the room with Niall and the nurse. "What's wrong dear? I heard from this young man that you have a bit of a headache. Is that true? She gestured to Liam as she asked me. I nodded. "Okay, well I'm going to give you some medicine for that and then you should get some rest. That means that all these boys need to leave." I pouted at her words. "Cant Harry stay? Please? I promise he'll be good." She contemplated it for a moment and then sighed in defeat. "Alright, but only him." She said firmly. "Okay."

"Aright boys it's time to go now. Say bye." Ariella said. "BYE VALI-BEAR!" all the boys chorused. Liam stopped right before he stepped outside of the door and turned to me. "Oh Val we've got a surprise for you" He smirked. "Ooooooh! Tell me! Tell me! Tell me!" I pleaded. "Nope. You'll have to just wait and see."

I wonder what it is.
