Making a movie based off a book, is as common as it gets now. You watch the movie with deeper understanding of just how exactly a character feels, knowing in depth why, when and what happens after having read 300+ pages being put forth in 120 minutes celluloid before you.

But a lot of times, I have watched a movie and have been left wanting more, with the desire to know what, why and when in depth. 

And one such movie, the story and characters of which are close to my heart is Kal Ho Naa Ho. 

A classic Bollywood movie packed with laughter, dance, tears and emotions. In my attempt to explore more, I decided to put myself in their shoes and hence this book. 

This isn't a scene to scene write up of the movie, but exploration of the characters and story, and is wholly my vision of this amazing movie, hence categorized under 'Fan Fiction'.

I don't know know if this makes sense, but to me it's an unique celebration of a story that I dearly cherish. 

If somehow you haven't yet surprisingly watched this movie, then buckle up, you're in for a hell of a ride. 

In the golden words of Aman,

'Jiyo, Khush Raho, Muskarao, Kya pata Kal Ho Naa Ho.'

'Live, Be happy, Smile, Who knows if we will have tomorrow.'
