Chapter 8~ can you hear me?

Joes POV
Dianne turned up about 10 minutes later and we went and sat in the living room and got on with our project , laughing and talking the whole time.
"Do you want anything to drink?" I asked her after around 15 minutes Of us doing the project.
"Could I have a glass of water by any chance?" She questioned.
"Yes of course" I replied.
I walked into and got a glass and filled it up with water then walked back into the room and gave it to Dianne.
" here you go" I said as I handed her the glass.
"Thankyou" he replied.
We got back on with the project still laughing and talking, I never knew someone this popular could be this nice and so easy to get on with, since everyone else who is popular is horrible apart from AJ he seemed alright.
All sudden Dianne stopped working and stopped talking and lent back against the sofa.
"Di are you alright?" I asked her.
"Yeah just feeling a bit dizzy all of a sudden that's all" she said.
"He have some of this" I said as I handed her the water.
"Thankyou" She said as she took a sip.
"No problem" I said.
Then suddenly she went super pale and started staring straight at me.
"Dianne are you ok?" I asked and then instantly realised it was a stupid question as she obviously wasn't.
"I think I'm gonna faint Joe.... I'm gonna faint" she said.
"Stay calm take deep breaths" I said not knowing what to do.
Right then she fainted into my arms and her head landed on my chest. I picked her up and placed her on the sofa so she was lying Down.
"Zoe!!" I shouted. She instantly ran downstairs.
"What's wrong Joe?" She asked but then she saw Dianne.
"Right just stay calm Joe it will be fine" she told me.

Zoe's POV
I walked over to Dianne and realised straight away that she had fainted, I knelt down beside her.
"Dianne can you hear me?" I asked making sure my voice sounded clear so she could hear me.
No reply.
"Oh god Zo what are we gonna do?" Joe said clearly panicked.
"Just stay calm" I said putting my hand on his shoulder. But just as we were talking we heard a croaky voice come from behind us.
"Joe?"
it was Dianne.
"Dianne!" Joe shouted as he ran over and sat next to her.
"Joe don't shout" I warned him.
"Sorry" he said.
"Joe what happened?" She asked him.
"You fainted, how do you feel?" He replied.
"My head feels a bit funny but other than that I feel ok" she said.
"That's good, just stay led down for a bit" he told her .
"But Joe what about our project?" She questioned.
"It can wait you need to rest" he said.
"Ok" she said as she lead down.
I then left the room.

Diannes POV
Joe then got up to leave but I grabbed his hand and pulled him back.
"Stay with me" I said trying to hold back tears.
"Of course" he said as he knelt down next to the sofa.
I couldn't keep it in anymore and let a tear roll my face.
"Hey hey , don't cry" he said.
"I'm trying not to" I said letting more tears fall.
He held my hand tighter and moved closer to me. I then sat up and patted the space next to me and he came and sat there.
I rested my head on his shoulder.
"Do you think you know the real reason why you fainted?" He asked me.
I nodded.
"Do you wanna tell me?" He questioned.
I nodded once again.
"It all started...."
