Keeping The Balance

Previously On ETN 2. A group of 14 kids are invited to a school district meeting and they are tricked by their superintendent by being put into a alternate reality where everything they might encounter may be evil in someway. They are forced to vote two into the final challenge, Victor and Riley. Victor is victorious and Riley paid the price. The Lieutenant Almury gave Victor the Aries Stone to reveal what they have to get to the next 11 stones so they can get out of this horrifying reality.

After getting back from a horrifying challenge Victor, Matt, Laura and Alex come back with the Aries Stone.
"So we come back with a stone but, minus one friend. Poor Riley."says Kayla.
"We also learn that everytime we want to get one of these stones we need to sacrifice one of our friends in the final challenge." says Matt.
"So when it comes to voting, don't vote me in because you do not understand what I had to do in that death challenge."says Victor.
"I agree."says Chris.
"Wait! Wait! What if we just put the strongest in and the weakest in and we know that we'll come back with the strongest."says Deja.
"Looking at the group the weakest right now is probably Jamie." says Josh.
"I totally agree with you Deja but what if the strongest dies and the weakest comes back now what do we do?"says Alex.
"Well..."says Deja.
"My point. The voting system should be fair." says Alex.
"If anything Ethan J. and Jamie should have gone into the challenge because Ethan is the strongest physically and Jamie isn't" says Maddie.
The group discusses how the voting system should go and then a projection on the wall shows and a hologram is displayed onto the floor and says.
"Cafe lockdown initiated. Starting self destruct alert."says the hologram.
"What does that mean?"says Ethan J.
Then the floor starts to disappear and everyone starts to back away from the missing parts of the floor. Then a glow comes from the deep abyss of darkness in the floor and they realize that it is lava.
"Holy shit it's lava! lava! Run!"says Ethan K.
The group and Enida run towards the door but it is locked.
"This is not how I wanted to die."says Josh.
Then the stone in Victor's hand starts to glow. Then Victor's eyes start to glow red and then he bangs the door down. Escaping the cafeteria into a hallway. A voice then echoes through the halls.
"You will never escape the hellhole, the only way to escape is to keep a balance."says the voice.
Then 6 holograms project from ceiling and it shows 6 balances. Like how you would weigh things on a scale.
"For your first task you must find these six balances, to a room you must go that you are awfully familiar with, my servant will guide you."says the feminine voice.
The 6 scales disappear and then reappears the hologram woman who destroyed the cafeteria.
"Follow me."says the hologram.
The group follows. Then they turn a corner and the hologram opens the door to the room.
"When she said a room that we are awfully familiar with I knew she was talking about the band room."says Deja.
"So we back in this room. Ok. It's fine. As long as no lava comes popping up out of nowhere."says Kayla.
The group walks into a different band room in which they usually see. Instead of metal chairs it had comfortable bean bag chairs. A large leather spinning chair. Instead of stands there was 13 little tables with little drawers on them.
"Oh crap this is so cool."says Victor.
"We should have this all year round."says Matt.
"Now this room, is the one to stay in ok girl."says Josh.
Everyone takes a sigh of relief that they where safe. Then the hologram appeared in the middle of the band room and said.
"From the Queen Lukina Buretta, you must choose 6 contestants to compete in her mini challenge. If fail the mini challenge those 6 will be put into the final challenge."says the hologram.
"And if they lose?"says Matt.
"Those 6 will be safe from the voting balled and those who didn't participate in the mini challenge. So this is where I leave you to decide who will participate."says the hologram.
The hologram disappears then the drawers of the little table open.
"So the little drawers open and there are little cards in there."says Deja.
"These are the voting cards from before."says Jamie.
"Now the voting process will go like this, you must pick six people who you think should go into the mini challenge or the final challenge. A score board will be put onto the board, recording each person's score. The top six people with the highest score will be put into the mini challenge."says Enida.

"Now I will reveal the six who will be in the mini challenge, is Amber, Deja, Ethan J., Ethan K., Josh, and Kayla. The rest of you are safe for now."says Enida.
"Ok clearly the group wants me to go into a mini challenge where either I could save myself or put myself into the final challenge. Eh. Oh Well."says Amber.
"Follow me, the rest of you stay here."says Enida.
"See ya in a few."says Ethan J.
The six challengers and Enida go to the mini challenge and they go back where they were the first time, they turn the corner and they enter a ash filled cafeteria. Then a different hologram pops up in the front of the group and says.
"Welcome challengers. I am Queen Lukina Buretta, I am the one that keeps the balance of this reality and I have decided to give challenge to ones below my current status."says Queen Lukina Buretta.
"Below your current status. Bitch were all the same type a status. Mine is still single."says Josh.
"You will be given these little balance bags."says the Queen.
Lukina through her holographic shape gives 6 balance shaped bags.
"You must look through this ash for 6 little balance beams and put them into your bags, now they are blended in with the ash you have 60 Minutes, I'm only giving you this time because I'm feeling more on the nice side today, SO DONT MAKE ME MAD!"said Queen Buretta.
Then the hologram disappears and all six challengers take off.
"Now the Queen said these balance beams where blended in with the ash but girl I found my first one."says Deja.
Deja 1, Amber 0, Ethan J. 0, Ethan K. 0, Josh 0, Kayla 0.
"Got one."says Deja.
"Oh shit found another one."says Deja.
"Found one bitch okurrr."says Kayla.
Deja 2, Amber 0, Ethan J. 0, Ethan K. 0, Josh 0, Kayla 1.
"Awesome found one."says Ethan J.
"This is the hardest thing ever, like how in the fuck are Kayla and Deja finding these things."says Josh.
"How are you guys finding these things girl."asks Josh.
"Black girl magic henny."says Kayla.
"Funny."says Josh.
"Oh cool found one."shouts Amber.
"Good job Amber, 50 Minutes still remain."says Enida.
Then Kayla finds one and gives it to her friend Josh. Making a tie between the two.
"Since when are we allowed to help each other find these things, I thought it was every man or woman for themselves."says Ethan K.
"This is going great for me cause I found another one."says Ethan J.
50:00 Minutes Remain.
Deja 2, Amber 1, Ethan J. 2, Ethan K. 0, Josh 1, Kayla 1
"I am on a role."says Ethan J.
"I can't find squat dude."says Ethan K.
"You'll get there dude, patience."says Ethan J.

"Come on balance beam."says Josh.
Josh gets ahead of Kayla and Amber while collecting his second balance.
Deja 2, Amber 1, Ethan J. 3, Ethan K. 0, Josh 2, Kayla 1
Right after that Deja finds her third balance beams and is filled with more hope that she won't be in the final challenge.
47:00 Minutes Remain.
Then 20 Minutes pass by and the score is different from before
Deja 6, Amber 4, Ethan J. 6, Ethan K. 3, Josh 5, Kayla 6.
27:00 Minutes Remain
Kayla, Deja and Ethan J. have found all six of there balance and waiting for Amber, Josh and Ethan K.
"Come on guys 25 minutes left."says Deja.
Amber then finds her fifth balance.
"Ok I need to find these balances or all six of us are screwed, well at least one of us."says Ethan K.
Amber then shouts in relief and says
"Found my last one."says Amber.
Josh and Ethan K. are the only ones left to find their balances.
"Awesome. Found it."shouts Ethan K.
"Come on guys only three more."says Amber.
"10 Minutes left, guys lets go."shouts Deja.
"Yasss!"shouts Josh.
"I found my last one, but Ethan has two more to find and there is like 8 minutes left."says Josh.
"Come on Ethan you got this!"shouts everyone.
"Ok, I found one!"shouts Ethan.
"Awesome, Awesome. Keep going E!"shouts Kayla.
5 Minutes Remain.
"Ethan right there, right there!"shouts everyone.
Ethan goes to where they are pointing and he finds his last balance with 2 minutes to spare. Everyone does a group hug and sighs in relief. Then they go back to the lounge room.
"I'm soo happy that I am safe from being voted into the challenge."says Ethan K.
"I feel relieved, but I also know that this is a one time thing and eventually I might be in a challenge or two.."says Ethan J.
They get back to the lounge room.
"We won the mini challenge, we are all safe."says Deja.
"Great."says Chris.
"Ugh."says Maddie.
"Now we must vote for two to go into the next challenge. Deja, Ethan K., Ethan J., Kayla and Josh you are safe from being voted in."says Enida.
Voting Confessionals
"So it is time to vote, and I choose Matt."says Deja.
"Ok this is obviously very hard to choose but I chose Jamie."says Ethan J.
"Time to vote for whom must go into the death challenge and I choose Chris."says Ethan K.
"My choice is very easy because I am not putting my boyfriend Matt or best friend Alex into this challenge so I choose Chris."says Kayla.
"Ok girl so I am definitely not choosing Alex or Matt due to their best friendship pass so I chose Laura."says Josh.
"I am so glad that I am safe but choosing is so hard but the choice had to be made and I chose Maddie. God I hate this shit man"says Amber sobbing.
"Ok so it's my turn to vote and I choose Chris cause he's like the only person I could really choose without killing myself inside."says Alex.
"So I think that I have a strong chance of going into this challenge cause I made some side comments about those six winning. But I chose Matt."says Chris.
"I hate doing this type of stuff but I know it has to be done so we can go home and get out but I choose my little baby Jamie."says Laura crying into her hands.
"Ok it's my turn to vote for someone and I choose Jamie."says Maddie.
"Ok I feel like I'm not going into this challenge because I won the last one and I proved myself to the group so I choose Alex."says Victor.
"Ok it's my turn to vote and my choice was hard but I picked Chris."says Matt.
"I am the last one to vote and I know in my mind that I might die today but I clear that out and I choose Victor."says Jamie.
"Ok now I will draw two cards and those on the card will be in the final challenge."says Enida.
There is a huge pause and all is silence.
"The first person going into the final challenge is Matt."says Enida.
"Holy shit. What! Who would pick Matt?"says Alex.
The whole room was in utter shock of this result. Kayla and Matt hold each other tight along with Josh and Alex.
"Ok, the second person going into the challenge is Maddie."says Enida.
"Oh my god."says Maddie to herself.
"Both of you come with me please, you all can come and watch if you please."says Enida.
"No I'm gonna stay."says Kayla sobbing.
"Ok, as you wish."says Enida.
"Me and Josh will stay here along with anyone else who wants to stay."says Alex.
"I'll stay."says Amber.
The rest of the group goes outside to the brand new football field where there is a huge temple like optical course with many ropes and at the bottom of each of them are things that end in death.

*Back at the band lounge where Alex, Josh, Kayla and Amber sit and talk about everyone and the challenge.
"So we decided not to go outside to watch because it is a possibility that our best friend, for Kayla her boyfriend. Matt could die today and I can't accept that."says Alex.
"Ok. Kayla let me tell you something, there is no time for crying right now we need to go outside and cheer Matt on and make sure he wins and doesn't die today ok."says Alex.
"Ok I can't keep thinking about the negative outcomes. I have to think about the positive. Ok let's go."says Kayla with slight hesitation.
Kayla, Josh, Amber and Alex head outside and head towards the group who is sitting on a football bench on the newly built field.
"Hey guys."says Alex.
They sit down with the rest of the group.
"Enida do you wanna sit."asks Alex.
"Oh no dear I prefer to stand incase of an emergency but thank you."replies Enida.
"Look the Queen is about to describe the challenge."says Chris.
"Two challengers stand before me. Now I have prepared a ninja like obstacle course. The first task you must balance across a pool of water that is a random temperature while walking across with four ropes. Two for your arms and two for your feet. Then in the second course you must swing across 5 times with a noose While above a hard concrete floor. Your third and final challenge is to go through a spider like web touch any rope and you must restart from the beginning of the task."says Lukina Buretta.
Lukina claps her hands and the challenge begins and Maddie and Matt dart up a ramp to the first task and it is hard than it looks. Matt takes his first steps on the rope and slips and almost falls into the water.
"Ok I think I need to do this bare footed cause I'm gonna slip and fall with these shoes."says Matt.
Matt takes off his shoes and Maddie takes off her shoes as well and they start and they go as slowly as possibly.
"Come on Matt you got this!"shouts Kayla.
"You got it Maddie keep going!"shouts Chris.
Maddie is almost half-way through and Matt is right behind her. Matt then rotates his other foot and hand to the same rope as the other ones are on, making it easier for him to get across. He soon passes Maddie who is halfway through. Matt then completes the first task. Maddie then follows him. Maddie and Matt are tied on the same obstacle.
"Yeah Matt wooo!"shouts Alex.
"I need to stop focusing on my friends and get that Libra Stone."says Maddie.
Matt swings on the first noose and nearly slips but make it to the second one. Maddie then follows and flows with it through the second one onto the third one. Matt then would follow again.
"This is gonna be very close."says Jamie.
"I don't know who's gonna win this is very hard to determine."says Ethan J.
Then Matt beets Maddie in the second challenge and makes it through the swinging nooses.
"Come on Maddie!"shouts Chris and Jamie.
"I have this challenge in the bag I'm almost done and she's still on the fourth noose."says Matt.
Maddie makes it to the fifth and final noose swing but Matt slips through the spider web and goes up the golden steps to Queen Lukina and is forced to bow and is given a green stone.
"Here is a token of my honor. The Libra Stone it gives its user the ability to alter reality."says Lukina.
(in slow motion) Maddie swings through the fifth noose but the rope is then cut off by Lukina with a snap of her fingers and Maddie falls to her death and lands on a concrete ground.
"Oh my god!"shouts everyone.
Matt is then flew down by the Libra Stone and Victors hand begins to glow and Matt and Victor put their hands together. Everyone runs over to Maddie's body and checks on her.
"Maddie just died in front of everyone."says Josh.
"She's dead."says Chris.
"I'm sorry to inform you guys but we must head back inside but I'm afraid that the acid rain is starting to come down a bit let's go inside."says Enida.
The group leaves Maddie's body outside to be covered in acid rain.
"This is how we keep the balance in this world."says a dark masculine voice with a laugh.
