Episode 8 "Harping Hearts"

The group finds the next step towards the next stone.
"It must be the Statue Of Ara," says Alex.
They face off against the man with no name to get to it.
"This just proves that Bai Fan is extremely powerful," says Victor.
Kayla is slain in the final challenge and Josh returns with a new purpose.
"I'm a fighter," says Josh.
The group fails to find the extra stone.

"Are we locked in here forever?" says Jamie.
The group is still recovering from Kayla's death.
"We shouldn't want anyone of the other people to die," says Jamie.
"This whole time we have been playing by Bai Fan's rule. But we're all dying anyway. We need to something to outsmart him," says Victor.
"After the challenge, Enida gave me this chocolate bar and she says it might mean something to the next challenge. So I say let's open it," says Josh.
"So Josh grabs the chocolate bar and I'm like. Girl you betta share," says Alex.
"I'm looking at the chocolate bar and I'm like damn I've been here for so long I would like to have a bite," says Josh.
"A delicious delectable chocolate bar, taste like pure joy," reads Josh off the back of it.
"I don't wanna eat this, I don't know what's in it," says Deja.
"Why should we trust it?" says Matt.
Josh opens it and there is nothing inside of the chocolate bar, nothing but a note.
"Once the children have spoken devour me and two paths will appear," reads Josh.
"There are kids in this reality still," says Laura.
"How many people are being held here?" says Josh.
"I don't even like kids that much, they freak me out," says Alex.
"Should we look for the children?" says Matt.
"I don't want kids," says Jamie.
"Their probably Jamie's height," says Alex.
Then Victor opens up a little door on the wall and there is a painting of two little kids. Then a little drawer opens at the bottom of it.
"There's nothing inside. It's a little creepy but I know it must mean something," says Alex.
The group looks around more.
"Yo I smell chocolate," says Matt sniffing the walls.
"Ima let y'all die," says Alex laughing.
"We're sniffin' around and all of a sudden we sniff out a clue," says Matt.
"I found a key!" says Victor.
"We don't know what the key is for. But we know it's gonna be important," says Laura.
Alex and Laura then find a chest behind the wooden bench against the wall.
"Found a chest!" says Alex.
Alex puts the chest on one of the many tables.
"Let me see the key," says Alex.
The chest opens and it is filled with gumdrops and a note that says "All children love gumdrops."
"Oh fill the little drawer up with gumdrops," says Matt.
"Alex that's how you die," says Jamie as Alex is eating a few gumdrops.
Matt then pushes the drawer in and a child's voice echoes through the school.
"Someone please help us, please," says the voice.
"We've been locked in the Gingerbread Women's oven and she's gonna cook us alive," says the voice.
"What is going on in this school there are children in the oven," says Laura.
"So the children are telling us that there trapped but their friend is still stuck in the woods lost. They also tell us that the baker is looking for the Gingerbread Women's Lost Recipe for the meat pie," says Laura.
"Hurry she'll be back in an hour to start the oven please help us!" say the children.
"She's gonna bake the kids alive," says Deja.
"I hear kids voices and I go into mother mode and I'm thinking that I have to save these kids," says Laura.
"One group will go get the meat pies the other will go find the boy," says Alex.
"It is never a good idea to split up but we have things to do. We have to save these kids lives we gotta do this quick," says Josh.

Josh breaks apart the chocolate bar and shares with everyone. Then the group splits into two groups.
"Alex and Jamie. Come with me," says Deja.
Then Laura, Victor, Matt, and Josh are in a group together.
"We split off into two separate groups and immediately start following these candy trails. One is to the recipe and one is to find the child. Which seems like an odd combination of things," says Jamie.
"So we walk into the Noir Theater and immediately see a gingerbread house that needs to be assembled," says Deja.
"Once complete open the door to find a treat," reads Alex.
"Okay let's start building this house," says Deja.
"I haven't built a gingerbread house in like 10 years," says Alex.
*The Second Group (Josh, Matt, Laura, Victor)
"The gumdrops lead us through the cafeteria into the kitchens," says Laura.
"As soon as we start looking around we see chocolates everywhere," says Matt.
Matt finds a note.
"He has a note," says Victor.
"We come across a box of chocolates and another clue," says Laura.
"Please find my collection of chocolate confections and place them correctly in this box. I need a baker's dozen that's 13. So I know right off the bat 13 chocolates and they're all gonna be different. Be sure to taste the proper treats to be lead to the man whose brains you must eat," reads Matt.
"WHAT! I have to eat a man's brains" says Victor.
*Back to Group 1 (Alex, Deja, Jamie)
"How could she eating children. Those kids are innocent kids," says Deja.
"The stories that we were told when we were little and some people like to cook kids," says Alex.
"Oh great Alex," says Jamie.
*Back To Group 2 (Laura, Victor, Matt, Josh)
"So we get one of these nipple ones," says Josh holding it to his chest.
"Oh yes girl," says Laura.
Josh then finds the top of the box.
*Back To Group 1 (Alex, Deja, Jamie)
"So far we've been beating these lieutenants with brute force. Is there any way we can outsmart them or get ahead of them. Cause it always seems that there ten feet ahead of us," says Deja.
"If we take out a lieutenant. Maybe he'll see we're not just pawns in Bai Fan's game," says Alex.
"Okay this side seems very steady but I feel like we need to keep it very still," says Alex putting frosting on the gingerbread house.
"Maybe if we just put all the lids at once maybe it'll just," says Deja.
*Back To Group 2 (Laura, Victor, Matt, Josh)
"We find the top half of the box which is a map of where each chocolate goes but all these chocolates kinda look the same. We're gonna have to eat them to know what they are," says Victor.
"There literally all fruit flavored," says Laura.
"I need to eat the whole thing for me to find out," says Josh winking.
*Back To Group 1 (Alex, Deja, Jamie)
"What is this?" says Deja picking up a yellow paper and the last piece of the gingerbread house.
"That goes right here. It holds these things up," says Alex.
"Yeah it goes like slanted," says Jamie.
"I'm not that good when it comes to gingerbread houses I only tend to succeed at things I'm good at," says Deja.
*Back To Group 2 (Laura, Victor, Matt, Josh)
"As soon as we pop these thirteen chocolates into their slots the door pops open," says Matt.
"And there is more candy on the ground and this trail leads up the stairs into what I think is classroom but is a bedroom," says Laura.
*Back To Group 1 (Alex, Deja, Jamie)
"Okay, you guys decorate it. I'll hold it," says Alex.
"So 3 on the sides," says Deja.
"Good job Jamie," says Deja.
"Thank you, Deja," says Jamie.
"Okay reach inside there. There should be a treat in there," says Alex.
Then a small rectangular box opens.
"Oh wait that just opened, well I'm done holding this," says Alex as the gingerbread house collapses.
"Oh crap," says Jamie laughing.
"We already got the key run!" says Deja.
Alex then turns around and grabs a little bowl of sweetest fish.
"Me. Alex is me," says Jamie laughing.
"Guys there's another candy trail," says Alex.
*Back To Group 2 (Laura, Victor, Matt, Josh)
"This little girls room reminds me of a horror movie but then again I feel like I'm in a horror movie," says Victor.
Josh picks up a note and reads it.
"I do love to surprise the children with things to eat especially things that make them gag. I particularly love brains," reads Josh.
"That's when we realize we need to open all these gifts and look for these brains we're supposed to eat," says Laura.
"I open up the box and there's a dudes head," says Matt.
"Woah!" says everyone.
"Well okay, it's a cake," says Matt in relief.
"Thank god, I thought it was gonna be a real human being," says Victor.
*Back To Group 1 (Alex, Deja, Jamie)
"So we go outside and we're looking for this lost child," says Deja.
"What does all this mean?" says Alex and Deja at the same time.
"Oh a chest!" says Alex.
"A key that we found inside opens up this chest," says Jamie.
Deja opens the chest and there are a note and rock candy.
"Nine pieces of candy must be placed on the golden to lure the lost child from the woods. Once all of them are placed the child will appear and open the gingerbread room," reads Deja.
*Back To Group 2 (Laura, Victor, Matt, Josh)
"So as we're eating the brains a cabinet behind us opens up," says Laura.
"There is a large book and realize it's a cookbook," says Matt.
"It's the recipe book!" says everyone
Recipe Book Recovered.
"A secret meat pie more valuable than a kings fortune. As we are reading the recipe we realized that it called for a child and now where have to be sure that there are children here and need to be saved before they're eaten," says Josh.
"So we rip out the meat pie recipe and get out of there," says Victor.
Group 2 makes their way back downstairs.
"There's more candy to follow," says Laura.
"We get to a door that has a note on it and says. Only children can enter the baking room," says Victor.
"So we gotta wait for them to bring back the kid," says Josh.
*Back To Group 1 (Alex, Deja, Jamie)
"So we are placing all the candies on the 9 stones," says Deja.
"Is that all of them," says Jamie.
"No there is one more probably hidden in the bushes somewhere where we can't see it," says Alex.
"Oh it's right here," says Alex moving the chest of the stone.
"Oh you son of a bitch!" says Deja.
Then the lost boy goes to them with his found candy.
"I'm not gonna share my candy, I found it," says the boy.
"No, No, No," says Jamie.
"We need your help to find your friends," says Deja.
"Yeah, okay," says the boy.
Then they meet up with the rest of the group inside.
"The little boy gives us access to the gingerbread room and inside is this scrawny little man, skinnier than Matt. Surrounded by sweet treats," says Josh.
Enida then tells the boy.
"It's time for you to go now okay. Get back to your mother," says Enida.
"Okay thank you Auntie Enida," says the boy hugging her and then running away.
"Do you know where the children are?" says everyone.
He then looks at the oven nervously. Victor then opens the oven and two children come running out of it.
"You saved us thank you so much!" says the girl with light pink colored skin.
"Two kids come running out and thank god we saved the kids," says Jamie.
"I'm tryna save myself, shit," says Alex giggling.
"Why were they in there?" says Jamie.
"Well, it's what the Gingerbread Lady does," says the man.
"Look at that rock it's the stone!" says everyone pointing at his necklace around his neck.
"We need that," says Matt.
"We'll give you anything," says Josh.
"The Gingerbread Women gave it to me and if I give it away she'll hurt me," says the man.
"We'll protect it," says Laura.
"What is up with that he's terrified we'll get you out of here. We'll help you," says Jamie.
"We'll trade you the Meat Pie Recipe for the Stone," says Alex.
"That could be my way out," says the man.
"So we agreed we are gonna trade the stone for the recipe," says Victor.
"Put that down please," says the man pointing at Victor holding the recipe.
"You put it down," responds everyone.
"We need to get this gem and we need to get out of here," says Deja.
"Why should I trust you?" says the man.
"Why should we trust you," says Josh.
"I mean you're a prisoner, we're prisoners," says Jamie.
"Right when he is about to give us the stone in walks this Gingerbread Women," says Matt.
"Oh, do we have guests? It's a nice thing that I just batched up a nice thing of hot cocoa. Please have one," says the Gingerbread Women.
"I guess this is the Gingerbread Women. She gives me a cupcake it was delicious, offering us hot chocolate. At first, I'm like should I eat this is it poison? If I gotta die in this place at least I'll die eating a cupcake," says Deja.
"That's when I realize we have her recipe. Her sacred meat pie recipe," says Alex.
"That looks like my secret recipe pie. How did you get it? You," says The Gingerbread Women looking at the skinny man with the stone.
"It wasn't him!" says Alex.
She then starts yelling at him and picks up a clever and grabs his hand and puts it on the chopping board and chops his fingers off.
"No! No!" yells everyone.
"GIVE ME THE RECIPE NOW!" says The Gingerbread Women holding up her clever.
"Here's the deal. You have something we want," says Josh.
"She's counting. She's counting," says Jamie.
"I'll take the recipe. Thank you," says The Gingerbread Women snatching out of Matt's hand.
"You tried to steal my recipe. Your punishment. Is that you will go out and vote and bring me back two pieces of meat. And I'll decide which one of you gets to live and which one of you will be put into my next meat pie. Go! Now!" yells the Gingerbread Woman raising her clever up to the group.
The group goes back to the commons.
"That poor little man was just sitting there getting ready to bake," says Josh.
"She said she rescued him as a child and now he's like a prisoner," says Deja.
"She didn't rescue him she swiped him up," says Laura.
"Think how long he's been there. Think how long we could be here," says Alex.
"Whatever is in there is probably food. Eating and eating and we just went through chocolate and chocolate, ate brains," says Victor.
"I'm willing to go in there and fight because after what happened to Kayla. I don't want any of you to die," says Josh.
"But, Josh you already fought in a challenge," says Jamie.
*10 Minutes Of Discussion Go By
"Okay it's time to vote one by one as usual," says Enida.
"Ah the voting never ends," says Laura.
"So at this point, all of us have gone into elimination so it's really hard to choose someone," says Jamie.
Enida shuffles the cards.
"Victor," says Enida.
"What?" says Laura.
"Vote for me one more time see what happens. In the wise words of Thanos himself. I am inevitable," says Alex. *evil laugh.
"Jamie," says Enida.
"Woah!" says Alex.
"I did not see either of those coming," says Laura.
"The votes have been cast. There is no way to change it. Victor, Jamie come with me," says Enida.
"Fight for your life. Both of you might be able to come back alive," says Deja.
"Don't expect death," says Laura.
"You got this," says Alex.
Victor and Jamie get back to the room they were just in.
"So we go back in the room and there are more sweets than before," says Victor.
"There is not a single chip, or burger, or french fry in sight. Everything is so sweet and sugary in this room," says Jamie.
The man from before hands them a note.
"If this battle has to do anything with sweets I'm gonna puke," says Victor.
"Choose a side, then eat and swallow everything red until you are given your next instruction. The first to complete all three instructions lives. Set the baking timer to thirty-minutes and be finished before it rings or no one gets out," reads Jamie.
"As much I don't wanna eat sweets. I don't wanna die," says Victor.
The Challenge Starts and Jamie and Victor look for anything red.
"Anything that's red is going in my mouth. Pause," says Jamie.
"Is this red?" asks Victor to the man.
"No that's pink," says the man.
"If I was color blind, thank god I'm not. I would not be able to do this challenge," says Jamie.
"I am super competitive. Even if the challenge is something that I hate," says Victor.
"So I find all red items pretty fast. Faster than Victor did," says Jamie.
The man hands Jamie her next note.
"Eat everything that's shaped like a square. So I'm looking around for square shapes. Thank god I go to high school and I know what a square is," says Jamie.
"So Victor catches up to me and he gets his next clue," says Jamie.
"I am eating chocolate, after chocolate, brownie after brownie and I am starting to feel sick," says Victor.
"We are the squares," says Jamie.
"Dump things out if you need to," says the man.
"Don't help her," says Victor.
"I mean honey one of us needs to live," says Jamie.
"I'm looking around and that little scrawny man will not give me my next clue. I think I'm gonna call him Sammy. Sammy won't give me my next clue," says Jamie.
"Maybe I'm thinking. Maybe it's better to just die," says Victor.
Then Sammy gives Victor his final clue.
"I get my next clue and it's is impossible," says Victor.
"I have to eat the king's cake," says Victor.
"What did you get?" asks Jamie.
"Mind your business," says Victor.
"Honey we are the same team," says Jamie.
"Victor eats everything and before I know it he's ahead of me," says Jamie.
"If I want to live today I have to eat this cake. I don't even think about it I just stick my hand into the cake and start putting it in my mouth pause," says Victor.
"Is that a square," says Jamie pointing at little boxes.
"It's a square," says Sammy.
"Jamie find her chocolate in a box and I'm thinking, that she might have a chance to pass me she might beat me today," says Victor.
Sammy then pulls a red ribbon.
"Done," says Sammy.
"Nooo," says Jamie.
"It's over Victor won. I'm dead. I'm about to be baked into a pie," says Jamie.
"For the last task, you must eat a meat pie," says Sammy.
"I don't understand why Victor is so disgusted by the meat pie, I'm like boy you get to live. If I had the chance I would eat that meat pie," says Jamie.
"You know what you guys can go free. I'll give you the stone only if you help me kill the Gingerbread Women," says Sammy.
"I am beyond relieved that I am gonna survive but to hear that Jamie might live to okay I'm thinking I need to do whatever it takes," says Victor.
"You must take the piece of the pie and tell her that something is wrong with it and there must be something wrong with the oven. When she goes in I will shut the door and then you can have the stone," says Sammy.
"As if I wasn't scared enough the Gingerbread Women walks back into the room and I have to give the performance of a lifetime," says Victor.
"If Sammy doesn't push her into the oven, I will," says Jamie.
Victor eats a piece of the meat pie.
"There's something wrong with this," says Victor.
"What do you mean there's something wrong," says The Gingerbread Women.
"It's disgusting you have to check the oven," says Victor.
The Gingerbread Women walks into the oven and the Sammy shuts the door.
"As soon as Sammy shoves the Gingerbread Women into the oven he gives us the necklace. We finally have the stone and he hands us a scroll. What we figure is our next clue," says Jamie.
Victor and Jamie get outside to see the group standing there waiting for them.
"Victor! Jamie!" says Laura.
"Victor and Jamie go in and they both come out," says Alex.
"So we're thrilled because that means we can outsmart Bai Fan after all," says Deja.
"We got the stone and a scroll," says Victor.
"All of a sudden a cloud of smoke appears and there is Bai Fan," says Laura.
Josh throws his round rainbow lollipop near Bai Fan.
"Pick it up!" says Bai Fan in a low demonic voice.
"You pick it up," says Jamie.
"I think you forgot something," says Bai Fan.
"What did we forget girl," says Alex.
"It's the most important part one of you must die," says Bai Fan.
Then a woman with orange feathers all over her walks out with Sammy.
"Kill him!" says Bai Fan.
The Harpy slashes his throat.
"No Sammy," says Jamie.
"One of you must die that is the most important part. That is the rule of the game," says Bai Fan.
Then a blue Harpy walks out and grabs Jamie and drags her inside.
"No! No!" says Jamie.
"They took Jamie," says Alex.
The Harpy then pins her against the wall near the window and slashes her throat.
"Run along now. Things are just starting to get fun hahaha," says Bai Fan.
The group goes back to commons freaking out about what just happened.
"Here I am thinking that me and Jamie could survive and then there's blood everywhere and she is dead," says Victor.
"Jamie is gone but, Victor has the Leo Gem. What we can do from this point forward is move on," says Deja.
"I don't think these stones will ever be worth the lives of our friends though. I wish there was another way," says Josh.
"We tried to outsmart him. It's not gonna end well," says Victor.
"We have to play by the rules," says Laura.
Victor places the Leo Stone on to the Stone holder between Cancer and Virgo.
"So, what's next?" says Josh.
